I suspect he's saying that wherever he ends up will be at his level. It seems he is not at the THFC level (yet?) but he feels he can get games in League 2. That's fair enough. It's good he wants to play at first team level.
His twitter sulk is just a smokescreen that essentially says, "Even given the fact that Poch likes to promote young players from the academy, I'm still not good enough to make the bench at this level". It's also telling that no Championship or League 1 side came in for him.
McEvoy to York is now official: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/mcevoy-departs-050116/? Literally bottom of the league pyramid, at the moment. I thought he'd do better than that, to be honest. Hey, at least his missus is decent: Only comment's about him punching above his weight, though!
No wonder he got married so young! Yes let's keep this out of HBIC's sight please. Kleenex won't be able to produce the tissues fast enough.
How dare Kenny McEvoy be so disrespectful to our club. Frankly, I have never seen a player go from being a talent to a waste of space, so quickly. The club was going to release him last May, but for some inexplicable reason, extended his contract at the last minute. If it was to give him a second chance, then it didn't work. His performances and effort over the past 18 months means he is fortunate to even have a FL club offer him employment.
KWP is on trial at Roda JC in view of a loan deal: http://www.football-oranje.com/tottenham-talent-on-trial-with-roda-jc/ Cue speculation we'll do a Chelsea/Vitesse and loan a few more players their way by the end of the window...
When it was suggested that Premier League teams field youth sides in weaker divisions, I don't think that UEFA imagined it would be the Eredivisie. They'll be really happy about it...
Damn, now I can't remember the bit I know you're referring to. I keep thinking of "Don't move! He can kill a man at fifty paces...well, maybe not FIFTY paces, but twenty five. Alright, well, maybe not twenty five..." So my memory's going as well as my ability to communicate. Good thing I can still tell jokes. Guy goes to a doctor. The doctor says, "I have bad news. You have cancer. Also, you have Alzheimer's disease." The guy says, "Well at least I don't have cancer!" Then again, maybe the joke telling isn't doing so well either....
If it wasn't obvious enough already, this confirms any January deal for Batshuayi is a non-starter ...and no doubt bumped up his asking price for the summer, making him Martial 2.0
We have a NEW STRIKER - but not just yet! http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...-despite-interest-from-west-ham-a3149606.html
Pritchard looks set to be staying with the club and won't be going out on loan this month, apparently Norwich and others were interested in taking him 'til the end of the season but Poch wants him around as he resumes full training very soon, Wimmer is also set to stay put.
Is Pritchard near enough to fitness that he could go on loan? Norwich not going to take anyone who can't play for a month or two.
Presume he must be mate if clubs are circling around, was really hoping this would be his breakout season, a shame it's been hindered, though he could still have a part to play with games coming thick and fast in the next couple months.
Be great if he is. Told everyone I know to look out for him this season, only to find he missed most of it.
Do you have a handful of salt? Good, as you may have to take the following with a pinch of the stuff ahead of the Sunderland game... The same bloke also says there are no plans to loan out Wimmer or Winks. Then again, even I could've told you there would be no plans to loan out Wimmer - in fact I did, last week, at least twice.
I bet right now she's giving him, "You told me you were gonna be a big premier league footballer! I shoulda listened to my mother!"
