I have a confession to make.
I have a really obsessive approach to eggs.
Breakfast usually consists of either scrambled eggs with tinned tomatoes or a fried egg sarnie.
Lunch can easily consist of my absolute favourite type... egg mayo in a seeded brown bun... on top of what I had for breakfast.
Once tea/Supper rolls around I normally abstain from eggs unless we are having quiche or a frittata.
The only other thing which comes close is probably picked onions.
I can each a whole jar to myself then neck the leftover vinegar.

Do you have any sinful food confessions? (Obi... simply eating lots of it doesn't count) <laugh>

Scrambled eggs with Pancetta dropped in with a hint of worcester sauce. Lovely.

I eat a lot of eggs, scrambled and omelettes mostly because they're quick but if I have 10 mins I'll do poached with muffins and tabasco sauce.

I often eat 12 egg omlettes chuck 9 yolks and keep three. Salt, pepper, garlic salt, Tabasco, smoked salmon. Bosh.

My vice is Haribo. Can't be in a room with Haribo without eating at least all of them.

Too much sugar in my diet. I'm a good weight though (12 stone) so can kind of get away with it. Could be worse, if I had my way I'd eat cakes and puddings all the time.

No problem with booze, hardly ever drink in the house.

    No takeaways either.

Oh and eggs are nice

My mate is doing Dry January, he has a serious drink problem. If he doesn't stop he reckons it will kill him soon.

Developed an unhealthy liking for sparkling wine over the xmas period. People keep plonking it in front of me so I have to drink it.

I did have an obsession with red wine and in particular Barolo. Good thing is for whatever reason my stomach has decided it doesn't like it and I end up like someone has put a knot in my stomach the next day. That has pretty much curtailed that little issue. I am drying out after I throw a house party this Friday, already decided. I am due to zip wire off the top of the baltic this month though, so I may need a drink before and after that.

Food wise I have an unhealthy obsession with Thorntons bite size caramel shortcakes. They are way too easy to devour. I don't like many sweet things but they get me. I do like nuts though. Salty cashews or pistachios, yeah I'll motor through them. I used to have a real problem with crisps when younger, I could eat bag after bag or even have crisp sandwiches. Bad idea. If I did it now I'd just get fat like Obi so don't.

Now I love Cashews but not the salty variety.

Don't have to be salty, they are just right up there as one of the king of the nuts. I have handfuls of none salty ones at work as a snack. Good for protein.

I love them. Also, nothing like Medjool dates. They may look like an old man's wrinkly ball sack but they taste heavenly.

Fair play to him for making the necessary life adjustments though mate. It's tough to turn a corner and I wholly admire anyone who gives it a go.

How the hell do people enjoy broccoli or cauliflower? They are disgusting, man. Give me turnip or sweet potato any day.

He has the best social life of anyone I know, he has recently retired, is either off on holiday or socialising four nights a week. He's also my gigging partner (I took him to seven last year) and I go to the odd match with him. But, and he admits this, drinking every day is screwing him up.
