Instead of all that bolloc ks the club really needs to sort out a proper club anthem, preferably one to be proud of. The fact we don't really have one or a proper club badge for that matter totally sends out the wrong signal. In Bruce you trust. Allam OUT
I just did a quick poll and the response was 100% in agreement. Any polls will always be twisted and argued about to suit certain people online.
They tried a year ago with Caravan of Love but that didn't work, a club anthem needs to come from the fans, not the club
Goal music at QPR was okay but only because they sang to it. Otherwise all goal music should be shipped to room 101.
"Only 900ish pass holders voted against post-goal music. Ergo the overwhelming majority are in favour or indifferent. Therefore the club will listen to its fans and play at least 3 songs after each goal."
Not read this thread, ive drank a lot of merlot, watched ted 2 and divulged into debauchery, but I will add my point that this poll is a piece of ****, compounded by the fact I recieved my email 4 hours after the ****ing thing shut. Total ****ing ****. I'll read the thread tomorrow.
they should focus on getting a manager in who gets the team to play decent football instead of worrying about whether the half time Balti pie is up to scratch
Odd survey when it's got 5 options, 3 of which are good or better It's more usual on a 5 choice survey to have the middle "couldn't give two ****s" option I'm all for making people get off the fence, but if that's what you want then use a 4 choice survey Just saying
Whenever people talk about 'club songs' I think they need to realise they normally evolve and are not forced. More often or not thay start on away days and gradually become an anthem. Has anyone seen the Motherwell fans 'away' at Rangers in the 2015play off singing 'twist and shout'?
Just catching up on recent threads. Yes, it fails the basic principles of survey and questionnaire design. Then again, we should not be surprised as the club has form in this area Whistle Whistle
The only half time entertainment I've ever seen at the KC is the crush on the concourse and the snails pace queue at the beer and food kiosks. Cannot see what was saved by having the beer kiosk and a third of the other counter closed on Boxing Day. Although it is quite entertaining to see those casually walking up to 'mates' in the queue in front of others who have been stood patiently, but pissed off, for a good 10 minutes and more, and it will be equally entertaining the day it all kicks off. Because one day it will.
They did a token gesture and messed about with it. The first time it was played it was cut short to about 30 seconds because the teams were about to kick off and the next time someone had tried to 'mix it' and were unsuccessful. I never heard it played in its entirety, or even just the chorus played in full, and IMO it was never given a chance to catch on.
They played it about 5 or 6 times from memory, and every time people just stood there, there wasn't even the start of it catching on. It didn't work, and I don't think it ever would. I don't even know why we NEED a club anthem so much anyway, the issue isn't a lack of songs, it's a lack of people singing them.
