JWP on the right, Tadic on the left. 4-4-2. Davis and Reed/Romeu/Clasie as the CM's. Long and Pelle up top. Bertrand and Martina/Soares getting forward. Old fashioned/traditional wingers and full backs that whip it in at every opportunity to Pelle and Long, with Davis arriving into the box late. It's a nice thought, but no teams seem to want to constantly cross the ball in these days in the top leagues
Because 9 times out of 10 it means giving the ball away cheaply, and possession is the holy grail in today's game. Although that might be changing. I seem to remember Germany putting a few crosses into the box in the last WC. Still, any well organised defence ought to be able to deal with that tactic all day long. Though ours might struggle right now.

I meant that we are still spouting the CL within x years with 50% homegrown players. I daresay when that plan was drawn up the 'planner' had a genuine belief that we would be able to hold onto the homegrown element which is what has changed, because that plan depended on the homegrown element helping us manage the plan within the 'sustainable' vision.
Godders, I've got to own up....it was me that stole your dream. You should have found somewhere better to hide it really, just piling some Victorian pornography on top of it was never going to be a successful security strategy. I doubt you'll want it back though as I think it's broken now - it rattles when you shake it, and it didn't before. Is it recyclable do you think?

Rumour has it he was paid enough for a new set of seat covers for his car (possibly urban myth), but I don't know what car it was - my guess would be a Capri I suppose he didn't need the royalties later on - great song and not a hit until re-released ................
