So why make the statement : 'And Cech having the proud duty of picking their ball out of the back of his net repeatedly' then ?
So your Statement : 'Cech having the proud duty of picking their ball out of the back of his net repeatedly' is actually based on Cech picking their ball out of his net in an Arsenal shirt precisely zero times.
Nice try at clutching at straws, it doesn't wash though. My original comment about Fabregas, Bellerin and Sanchez was obviously based in past tense, which you followed up by adding Cech to the list, thereby placing it in the same tense. Ergo your comment about him picking their ball out of his net repeatedly, when in fact he has conceded zero goals to Barca in an Arsenal shirt, was a poor wum attempt gone wrong.
Bellerin and Sanchez play for Arsenal now and Cech didn't play for either team in the past. Who's straw clutching, again?
You are tying yourself up in knots. My comment was based on Bellerin and Sanchez having moved to Arsenal from Barca, clearly past tense. You then tried to make a silly comment, in the same context about Cech repeatedly picking their ball out of his net, when in fact he has done that zero times for Arsenal. Keep digging though
He hasn't played for Arsenal against Barca. Why would I think that he had? This is just another example of you being blatantly and obviously wrong, but desperately trying to plead your way out of it with smileys and lunacy. Insisting that I meant something that I didn't say or even vaguely hiny at doesn’t help you. You really can't ever accept that youre wrong, can you? How fragile.
Then you should made it clear that you were simply speculating. Instead you linked a past tense comment with your own and it made it look like a very silly thing to say.
It wasn't a past tense comment, as I've already made clear and it wouldn't matter if it was. Only a complete simpleton would be confused by it.
It was a past tense comment. If it wasn't then why then did you say 'there's plenty of time for that to change' when I called you out the first time ? If it doesn't matter if it was past tense, then how can you stand by your statement that Cech has picked the ball out of his net repeatedly, when that clearly has never happened ? You are tying yourself up in knots because you know you have made a mistake.
You really do struggle to keep up with simple conversations, don't you? When you asked how many times he'd conceded goals to Barca while playing for Arsenal, I made a joke about him conceding to other sides. I then suggested that he had plenty of time to concede lots against Barca and overtake the number that he'd conceded against the stated teams. I was referring to the games against Bayern, Olympiakos, Zagreb and Southampton in the past tense, which was obvious to anyone reading it. When did I state that he'd repeatedly picked the ball out of the net against Barca? Didn't happen, I'm afraid. You keep claiming that it did, like you do about a lot of things, yet anyone can see that you're talking nonsense. Utterly ridiculous attempt to "prove" that somebody said something that simply wasn't said. Simply quoting the comment could show that you were right, otherwise.
What are you talking about. All you've done is show that your own comment was in the present tense. "These days". That has no bearing on my own comment, but it nicely illustrates how wrong you've been about absolutely everything, even your own contributions.
Past tense in that Bellerin and Sanchez have moved to Arsenal and have the pride of wearing the cannon on their shirts. Hence your past tense comment about Cech following from that. But actually, as you say it makes no difference whether it's present or past tense, you're wrong either way. Cech has picked zero balls out of his net from Barca as an Arsenal player. All you can do is speculate.
Do you predict that that will remain the case, PIX? If not, just how many Barca balls do you think Cech will have to salvage from his goal?
