Pretty mindboggling - the first two are Ringo's Sons, The third is Paul's Son, The fourth is John and Yoko's Son, the fifth is John and Cynthia's son and the sixth is George's son.

Ticket Sales would be off the planet if they ever performed.

They've been working on this for three years and they're going on tour in April, the problem is, some of them are a bit ****, I don't think the ticket sales will be anything special.

Talent isn't necessarily passed on via the genes.

Look at Steve and Alex Bruce...

They're not performing as The Beatlesons, they're calling themselves The Shoots.

You didn't read the first comment below that article, the one that says Sean Lennon has confirmed it's happening on London Radio?

It might still be bollocks, I've really no idea.

I did read where there already is a group called The Beatlesons so I doubt they could use that name.

I wouldn't if I were them, its a hell of an act to follow in their father's footsteps, I can't think of any offspring of a previous star being as successful as their parental seniors.

Kim Wilde more successful than Marty perhaps? She was certainly easier on the eye :emoticon-0148-yes:

This project would be better if it had the Beatles daughters doing it, better to look at and more talented to boot

This sounds like one helluva cashgrab if they ever did it.

Only one I really trust is Zak Starkey, he's a pretty decent drummer and was part of Oasis.

I always felt that Julian Lennon had some talent, but he got pig sick of being compared to his father all the time.

    Small wonder though.

The old man was still performing and knocked out a hell of a show when I saw him a couple of years back at a Butlins 60's weekend in Skeggy, as for Kim I think she got involved in environmental issues or something and when I used to go to Earles Court and see the electronic exhibition shows she gave a performance on one of the manufacturers stand, can't remember which company. It was around the time of Kids of America was a hit, anyway as she came off the stage she got right stroppy when I asked for her autograph indicating that she shouldn't be bothered by the likes of me as she made her way to her motorhome come luxury caravan thing. But also there was Michaela Strachan who was both charming and delightful even though she was then a television personality, I got both autographs anyway.

I'd heard that Marty Wilde was still pretty good, it doesn't surprise me though, Joe Brown is of a similar age and he was brilliant when I saw him in Cromer last year.

Seen him a couple of times spe, once when his wife was singing in the backing group then later on when his daughter accompanied him on stage, you are right he's a showman of the old school, much like Mary Wilde, and still knocks out a great performance.
