First of all, I'd like to wish you all a happy new year, right, onto the topic, it looks like we're going to sign him and I'll admit, I've not seen enough of him, he's a winger, he plays for Lazio as well -

Possibly the biggest signing of the decade. For that reason it deserves its own thread.

Would be better with a picture of Eddie the eagle Woodward looking like a gormless twat.

It's pretty embarrassing to see Ashley Young playing as a full back. Don't get me wrong, he was influential the other day but he should be playing in his natural position in the wings.

I never understand what goes in the mind of LVG. He got rid of Rafael, got a natural replacement in Matteo Darmian but benches him and instead turn Young and Valencia into full backs and waste Anthony Martial out wide.

This guy is intent on making the simplest tasks into quantum mechanics so a natural winger is needed in the January window whether LVG sign one or someone else does ( if LVG doesn't survive beyond the window).

I suggest Utd get Hakan Cahalonoglu. I watched him on a couple of Bundesliga and CL matches. He's very creative and his free kick is ace. He's among the Bundesliga's best young attacking players.

After all, we gave Bayer Leverkusen the gift of Chictarito so how them giving us something in return? :emoticon-0129-call:

Not sure you needed a new thread but that is fckin funny.

Good point about someone to take our free kicks... and our corners for that matter. Dont know the lad you mention though.

I watch a fair few Bundesliga matches and Cahanoglu looks the real deal. His set pieces is excellent

That brilliant free kick proves it.

I suggest Woodward should get him if he doesn't fancy Sadio Mane

I'm loathed to go by youtube clips tbh but if you've watched him then you'll know more than me.

There's a couple of steals in midfield/am available (Isco and Bojan) but I dont know of too many good wingers available. I forget the name but the lad at Napoli seemed good.

You mean Lorenzo Insigne? He's defo on fire for Napoli.

Bojan? Hmm..let's see if he can do it for the reminder of the season. Isco isn't getting much game time for Real but he's class. What a steal it would be if Utd get him.

Insigne is on the left isnt he. Who plays on the right?

Where would we play Isco? We have Herrera and Mata already. He is good though. Another player likely to be wasted by Rafa.

Milan have had a loan bid for Fellani rejected.

I am genuinely undecided which club should be more embarrassed!!

I'm more genuinely embarrassed at ourselves. If I was Woodward and Milan wants Fellaini, not only will I accept their offer but I will also personally drive him to Italy to complete the deal.

They've signed someone else so we're stuck with that mophead. Both should be embarrassed. Milan for wanting him (fck me that club has sunk to new low) or us for declining it. <doh>

I'm a regular watcher of Serie A and believe me, 'sinking to new lows' is kind when describing Milan these days.

Perhaps we turned them down as Woodward thought they weren't serious :undecided:

Apparently LVGenius is concerned that we're short of attacking options so he wants to keep hold of DCM Fellaini.
