    Hi, my name is Tom Beckingham and I am a third year student at Liverpool John Moores University, studying Sport Development with the business of sport. I am asking for you to take 15 minutes out of your time to complete a short questionnaire for my dissertation project. The aim of the project is to gain an insight into fans perceptions of who is responsible for the current financial state of the Premier League. I would be extremely grateful for your time.

    Filled it in a little earlier for you.

    Finance in football's quite an interesting subject. Small shareholders are becoming less common as big investors come in and look to grow the value of the business through tangible and intangible assets rather than profits and dividends. The success of football in England has led to a boom in club values that will surely have to slow down at somepoint. It still remains a very attractive investment though so presumably there are many that believe it will continue for awhile yet.
