    "no other options"

Of course they had other options Trebs, but the Chavs brought only brought him in to steady the ship for 6 months before a permanent replacement was found(ala LvG at man yoo), he even won them the European trophy LvG is proud to be competing and desperate to win this season.<whistle>
As for Madrd, they could've bought the contract of a manager at another club if they wanted to do so at the time but they decided to give "one of their own" a chance but it doesn't always work out.

    Madrid are reacting to politics

the reality is ballague is a rafa acolyte and has been on the offensive defending him like mad for months. Rafa was gone at end of season after the barca loss at home. they have accelerated this now due to players and couple of results.

bascially real have been on the slide a bit in a 2 horse race... and real keep chopping and changing managers. Theres just too much politics at the top of that club.

If Real Madrid were a person it would be a fat wealthy heiress who mixes uppers and downers and refuses to go into rehab over her drug addictions.

Instead, blaming all her woes on the hired help.

He needs to get the big egos of Ramos and Ronaldo on his side. If so, he has a chance until the end of the season.

9 Managers in 10 years, thats a standard for a team battling Relegation every season, not a regular CL team. Perhaps Real would be more consistent in winning the league if they had a consistent manager (head coach) who could build a team.

Frankly they should never have sacked Ancelotti, seems they were always waiting for Zidane but needed to fill a gap while Zidane actually had management time (would guess he was still getting his badges, or something like that)

I don't disagree, far too many old dinosaurs around living off past glories. Tbf it's good to see the likes of Klopp, Bilic and Poch bringing some freshness back to the game. Credit where it's due.

(Ofcourse I reserve the right to change my opinion if Mourinho joins United :bandit:)

Exactly, dinosaur that needs to be put out to grass. Tactics like parking the bus and high pressing are so 1990s.

Wenger is a dinosaur and Fergie was dinosaur going by that logic, if your good enough age doesn't matter.
Raniericiotops survived extinction at Chelsea, came back and worked a miracle with Leicester..

The fact is the main mistakes mourinho how made was not having a fast forward and betraying his players so they didn't work hard for him any more.

If chelsea had sat deep and defended like a movie how team and had vardy running up front do you think seriously they'd be 10th?

****ers blew it big time having slow hamstrung costa and Remy as striking options
