Sorry but I seriously think we're are being stupid being willing to pay the sums quoted for Maynard - unproven outside Championship and dodgy knees, Can see this turning into Akinbadbuy all over again, Sooner go for Yak - people say he's lazy but knows where the back of the net is - Kings carried alot of games but how many times has he popped up after doing nothing all game with a winner?

cant blame him for holding out for the best deal but i think we have allowed the fee to get out of proportion

Ok so we're pissed off with Maynard for not wanting to come, yet we want to go for Yakubu who also didn't want to be here, and in fact looked like he didn't want to be here quite often when he was actually playing for us... I just don't get the love in, people keep saying 'he does score goals thoough' - but that's not going to be enough if he's anonymous in every other game.
I would love both Maynard and Yakubu but that would cost around 10M and we cant expect the owners to keep spending money like that. But if Sven asks for it they might say yes

Yakubu bone idle waste of space, if we cant get maynard, and by the way, i agree the fees quoted are ridiculous, and im glad its not my money cos i wouldn't pay that much for him, then id much rather just go with what we have got, tho i do believe were are def lightweight up front. Better that tho than being held to ransom by bcfc chairman and board, for a player that is not proven, and with doubts over fitness. Having said that, if he came here and got us promoted id be delighted,but i just cant see it to be honest!!!!!!
If you look on youtube its not just how many goals he scores it the quality of the goals he scores, I think Yakubu is the better goalscorer but Maynard would add more to the team
maynard has so much class though, so difficult to defend against. Been a class apart in this league for a while.

Maynard isnt a player we have found off Youtube. He isnt an Kermorgant, Kaebi or Abe were Youtube is the only place we have seen him, Maynard is proven in this league and we know all about him
