More like it - if there's a grain of truth in there!?

Norwich want Alex Pritchard on loan from Spurs when he is due back fit later this month.
The attacking midfielder,22, underwentsurgery on his right ankle in October.
The England U21 ace originally sustained the injury against Sweden in the summer’s European U21 Championships, which ruled him out for the rest of the tournament.
But he is now due back training later this month and the Premier League Canaries see him as a potential successor to 33-year-old midfield schemer Wes Hoolahan.

That would be a fantastic deal if it came off - Pritchard was by miles the best individual player to grace Carrow Road last season.

Definitely. Very consistently impressive last season from what I saw. We could do with his free kick ability alone.

Can't fathom it out, it's in the Mirror, James Nursery is a midlands based reporter and Pritchard is a Spurs player?? What am I missing?

Like the sound of that! Plus a great free-kick and corner taker at last!

Wasn't Pritchard linked to us in the summer? I'd be keen.

Non NCFC for a moment, but twitter is reporting Benitez sacked and Zidane imminent at Real Madrid.

Latest news is that we are interested in Alex Pritchard from Spurs. He looked great for Brentford last season and would add some much needed competition for Wes.

Howson is a good midfielder but not sure he is a number 10.

Sorry... phone didnt load new comments on this thread so thought i was first to mention this.

Don't you dare sell Ruddy to one of our rivals, who has a dodgy keeper who costs them points!!

James Nursey covers the Midlands area, but I believe is a Norwich fan.

Pritchard would certainly be someone I'd like to see in yellow and green.

I can't see the sense of selling Ruddy to a rival and then using a huge slice of our transfer budget to replace him. Declan has taken his chance well, so there's no need to do anything, IMO.

We'd get what.... £3m for him and a very good replacement would cost upward of £5m I guess so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to sell him. JR has proved how good he can be - he just needs to knuckle down, work hard and prove himself again for when the opportunity to reclaim the gloves arises.

Totally agree. Let Ruddy fight for his place for the first time since he joined.

The question is how long would Ruddy be willing to stay on the bench? There's also the investigation hanging over him and rumours about his personal life.
I wonder if a move may be the best thing for him professionally and personally. Given how well Rudd has taken his shot I wouldn't want to spend big money. We have a young prospect in Kean (although I've not heard many glowing reviews for his U21 performances. What we would need is an old hand who happy to mentor Rudd an bit. Probably cost around £1.5m
