I'm amazed at these sorts of overreaction by liverpool fans just at the mere mention of Klopp actually taking some responsibility for performances against sides you should be doing better against. Seems even the usually most sensible posters become totally irrational at the suggestion that Klopp should have done better with the players he has against sides whose quality either matches or is lesser than the players at his disposal. The argument that it's all down to your players just doesn't wash under the circumstances.

Who has said to "fck him off"??? I'm not saying that at all. I also believe the players shoulder some responsibility but I just find the delusion that Klopp who is expected to work wonders (and may well do given time) is not taking any responsibility from any Livpl fans for the way his players are performing. None whatsoever. And not just the Liverpool fans, but Liverpool pundits and media sychophants. It's unreal. I've listed the teams you've dropped points to. It's not a one-off. He has to be doing better against these sides with the players he has, given the context of competition. Or is the Liverpool fan's argument that he's not versatile enough?

 

The belief was that Klopp would sprinkle some stardust on the players and they'd morph into a great team.

Reality bites.

Plenty of comments on here just over this weekend saying that Klopp didn't do well enough in the game v Wham and got his tactics wrong etc. However it's not all his fault, it's not all the players fault, it's not all down to injuries and not all Rodgers' fault either.

You've come on and been overly harsh on Klopp, so fans have just defended him and in defence have maybe gone slightly over the top as well.

If you gave a rational post towards what Klopp could be doing better in his 15 games half way through the season then I'm sure you'd get more reasonable defence of Klopp as well

 

We al thought we'd win the Prem, FA Cup & Champions League treble when he joined 15 games ago, silly bugger hasn't even got close in any of those 3 comps yet.

Well then you know that quite a few of us have been critical of Klopp's tactics and his failure to adapt them when they're not working.
(Just critical, in an objective way- not calling for his head, you understand).
So then, your comment that I quoted doesn't really apply to us all, does it?

I don't think Klopp should be getting this group of players challenging for the title- they're not good enough, but neither do I think they're as bad as the rubbish they've been serving up. They can do better, and it's up to him to get the best out of them.
I think he's finding this league a lot harder than he anticipated, tbh, but he's only been here 5 minutes, so I'm prepared to give him a lot more time to sort it out.

 

It applied to everyone on this thread. If you're so desperate for an apology I suggest you ask them

I disagree with mito, Jimmy and others quite often. It's healthy debate, we all want the same thing- just disagree as to the best way of getting it.

That is because they are playing to his orders, most managers expect that as a minimum
