If it includes Cardiff wums from last season , your board would lose 25% of your posters . They all disappeared from the Swan board with Swansea's promotion , how soon the Bluebirds forget their wumful past !!
That's a hard one MB, we've got some good posters from other teams even some jacks fair play, one or two like to wum but are harmless, however there are a small amount that are not happy until they spoil decent threads and seem to be camped on our board, I for one would like to see their posts deleted but to ban them might be a bit too far.
Having the odd WUM isn't a problem, in fact I think football forums thrive on them, and if you give it you have to take it. My problem is more with the nusiance poster and the one liner of the dorogatory nature. I think it would be better to be able to ban them from a particular article as sometimes they can destroy a good debate.

Take my situation , you guys want me to be a wum at all cost but I rarely say anything derogatory toward your team or manager . The only problem I ever had is with fans & finance & never bring it up . But I always end up being dragged into it by someone bragging about how your financial past is squeaky clean ... imagine Lol !!

Breezy/Cracker You're doing exactly what I'm against in an article, you are bringing it down to us and them and not really dealingwhat the article is about, you decided to make it personal. Now thats understandable, because you are very likely to be deleted/banned from an article, so naturally you wouldn't want such a thing. Now cut it out and just aswer the question without pointing fingers at bluebirds.
I have decided on yes because we need to keep the likes of certain posters in check. But I'm not against wumming in it's truer nature, bring on the wumming*. PS: Not on this article though *
What keeps me coming back to this board and the previous 606 is the banter. Some posters even get me laughing with their wit, don`t dare get rid of please....the goverment are to put a ban on laughing soon anyway!

There shouldn't be a problem with wumming on any club board as long as it's confined to appropriate threads. The problem comes when wums invade and polute threads that are set up to discuss matters that only concern the club in question. The overall banning wums would be a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut scenario - no need at this stage, and it would destroy a lot of the enjoyment that this type of forum can provide. I personally don't bother with the Swansea board at all now simply because I do not see them as an issue this season - it's nothing to do with being "jealous", though I doubt our resident canuck we see it that way from his comments. They've got up to the Prem and it's a new ball game for them - we are where we are, and as a result, have been doing my best to get our old traditional rivals the Wurzels to exchange "pleasantries". I suppose you could say I've been wumming over there, but it's all in a good cause........ I can see from where MB is coming, but hold off on bans except for the total dickheads, and then only as a very last resort if they fail to respond to moderator requests - that's maybe what MB is suggesting though. For the moment, I'm for no bans at all, and as I've already mentioned to H some time ago, as little or no moderation by him as well on this forum - the beeb 606 was doing my head in on that front.
I'm back, can't stay away any longer I'm against banning all, but the likes of breezycrack, hit the road and jager bring nothing to this board except immature pointless posts and disrupt threads into chaos, personally I'd suggest burning at the stake but since unfortunately there is a law against that then yes to selective bans. In the case of the plastic yeti who has probably never been to a match in his life and know's **** all about the game I'm all for a permanent ban as obviously he doesn't understand basic english, I mean how many times has he been told to **** off, and anyway I ****ing hate yanks
There was absolutely no swans fans on your board so you guys had to create threads about the Swans , so they would come on your board so you could ban them Lol !!!... so funny !!! . If the table was turned , we wouldn't have had to write threads about Cardiff , your wums would have showed up gladly , like they did every season until this one .
