    I'd take him. He comes with some management issues, but no doubting his ability. I was shocked when I read he was 23.

    I would much, much rather have his Icelandic teammate. But given how we have lacked a goalscoring CM for years (since Oakley?), I would happily take Shelvey.

    We should be. His contract expires in the summer so he won't be too expensive. As he's under 23 or whatever the age is, Fulham will get compensation but he is one of several talents in the Championship who I am keen on. Another, who would be more tricky to get, is Will Hughes.

    To be fair - he did his thieving in Portsmouth :eek:

    Joking aside - that was so shameful what he did - I was glad to lose him. I am not sure it ever works for a player to return to his old club especially these days - there are exceptions, like Micky Channon - so would not be so keen to see him back.

    From what I believe, this was typical of the behaviour of a few at the time. Very poor behaviour behind the scenes with very little regard for the team.
