Still going in right direction and further improvement likely with addition of more Irish blood this week
If you don't belt up you might be right. Got to hope for better than yesterday when you make the effort to get across.
Looks likely that Leicester have signed Young Gray from Brum for £3.7m cheap as chips for an amazing talented lad
Really? Where did you hear this earth shattering snippet....... Nobody knew they had signed him, or that the fee was set by the buyout clause in the contract he resigned last year.... You will be telling us next that he is staying on loan at Brum till the end of the season! With sources like this........
Do you want me to bring a roll of felt and a bucket along on Saturday?. Can give you proper expert help in tarring that felt roof and clearing basements
Out of our depth though Mike. We wont be paying that kind of money anytime soon, coupled with vastly superior salary at Leicester and a realistic chance of European football, its a no brainer for the lad
Don't you Fecking start... With Eire been a paddy he has to have some gypo blood in him. do you think he could remove the curse that means I only see us play ****e?
What time you planning on getting across on Saturday.... Let's get it organised before jock seizes control and has us on an itinerary so tight we need permission to go for a piss......
With the two televised games I have had the "pleasure" of seeing us three times in a week and think the above is spot on to be fair. Not enjoyable with a 300+ mile round trip and about £ 100 to boot but, over the three games would say about 7/10. I see Bamba has been slaughtered in certain quarters but, to my mind, we have faced Mills, Hobbs, Keogh, Shackell & Shotton in the last week and only Cooper would get in a team with any of them. Bamba is limited but I would still have him every day of the week over Bellusci (although better would be preferable). Can't blame Bamba for the goal yesterday (if anything Byram caused the breakdown in play) & if we had scored the two goals Derby scored the other night we would have been cooing over the quality of them. Maybe Bridcutt (who I really like) put Bamba in an impossible position to stick or twist for the first (if he had stood up and the guy had curled it in the corner he would have been criticised for not making a challenge - he jumped in and got beat - it happens) and the second was just a sublime touch to take the centre halves out of play. Compare that to the Forest goal, if we had scored that we would have been saying how lucky we were. The ball from Mills came from their penalty area and was in the air long enough for their Centre Forward to read a few Christmas cards before rounding Silvestri to score without a challenge in sight and Bellusci was sat on his 4rse waving his arms around as usual. For the Cup game, would love to see Coyle start at Right Back and move Wootton to the middle i.e. play them both in their natural positions and see how they look - nothing much to lose and plenty to gain if that works out. The Centre Halves I mentioned above were, of course, the ones Wood faced playing as a lone striker and I don't think many will argue we probably should have won the Forest game and stood toe to toe with Derby. With respect to MKD that is not what Doukarra faced yesterday and he was still rubbish - need better in the absence of Wood. Would forgive Cook and Taylor based upon age and tiredness (the ability to manage a game comes with experience and allows better, more experienced players to cope with clusters of games) - it is not their fault that they are certs to play because our squad lacks quality in depth. Dallas, for me beyond criticism. POTY so far from what I have seen and puts many to shame with his effort. Murphy, I just can't get my head around. Always looks like he should be a real player but just seems to come up short all the time. Again, maybe time to give Bianchi (if fit?) and Sloth a run out (I am assuming the only way Bridcutt could play next week is if we sign him permanently or on loan until the end of the season?). Finally, I have a sense of now or never for Cellino. When he first arrived I admit I was excited (after GFH and Bates it was probably akin to getting excited about a date with Miranda after a few real bad ones). Now I am just bored with his tenure and failure to do what he says he will do (stopped short of calling it lies there on purpose). However he is two years in now and is the closest he has ever been to the Play Offs at the midway stage. If he got hold of Byram and said you are going nowhere until the summer, kept Bridcutt until then too and brought in 3 quality additions he could at least say, I genuinely tried my best to get us up. If he falls far short of that and we don't even make a stab at it - time to go!!! PS will happily meet any of you for a beer next time I am up and staying but had to get back yesterday
Tell me about it! Fecking paddy flights.... Give me a shout when you get there. Go to the peacock if that's ok...... We will be n town from about 10.30 and will be grabbing a bite to eat... Paddy wanted to look at some proper shops with glass in the Windows. Mrs Eire is getting some Victoria's Secret undies apparently.
