One thing if I do win (unlikely I know) but can my son have trial to be the new number 9 as he is only 16 and playing at a decent standard whilst i am over 50 and my knee has never fully recovered from the ruptured cruciate I suffered in my mid 30s!

Once we have all the entries we should average the positions everyone gave and see how we did as a group.

Finally got a minute to average out the 16 predictions received, and here is the table as per the collective wisdom of not-606: 1 Man City 2 Chelsea 3 Arsenal 4 Man Utd 5 Tottenham 6 Liverpool 7 Swansea 8 Everton 9 C Palace 10 Southampton 11 Stoke 12 Leicester 13 West Ham 14 Newcastle 15 Aston Villa 16 Bournemouth 17 West Brom 18 Norwich 19 Sunderland 20 Watford I'm struck by how many people predicted Bournemouth to survive pretty comfortably, although their current form suggests that's a sensible suggestion. Also clear that most people expect Southampton to finally fall away (back) into a mid-table team. Their current form also suggests that's a good suggestion. Palace and Swansea predicted to have strong seasons, although Newcastle looks to be way, way out, as does West Ham sadly.
Well this certainly makes for an interesting read. I thought I'd have another look at this thread now that we've hit the midway point in the season. The table on the left is the current one. The one on the right is the average positions predicted by 16 Not-606 posters. Bearing in mind that most of the predictions were submitted after the transfer window closed, with most teams having played at least 3-4 games and a 'clearer picture' should've started to emerge, what this comparison emphasises is just how unpredictable this season has been. The collective wisdom of Not-606 only has two teams right so far; Sunderland and Bournemouth.
let me get this right CK...we change things around before every game if we think necessary? or is this our final table prediction?
Chelsea, Watford, Villa, Leicester and Swansea are way, way out - I guess that's enough to throw the entire table. No Dona, this was a one-off prediction. Entries had to be in before the first game of Sept, right after the transfer window shut, which is traditionally when the hack journos make their predictions. It's just a little something we run in the office to take our minds off of watching England during the intl break, and I thought I'd give it a go on here.
Just for ****s and giggles, I had to post the current table of where teams would be placed if Lawro's predictions were true. 'Pool in third!
