He tweeted a few days ago saying he's not on strike and not to believe everything in the papers. He's been taking the piss out of Joe Kinnear a bit too because some Toon fans were taking the piss about his attitude and desire to leave Newcastle for Wigan .

Titus seems to appear in quite of few on the razz photos with N'zog on that twitter account, perhaps his little chat the other day did some good.

iirc he broke the cattermole signing, not very often he posts but when he does he's normally spot on and like you say he is well respected on their, which takes some doing
It only takes about £50 of stakes to massively alter the odds in the transfer betting, as the markets are tiny. This means nowt, it's likely that the latest batch of rumours tempted a few into a bet, hence the shortening of the odds
