Imagine it. It's been abused it's entire life, and thought it was going to receive more abuse simply by being approached. I hope the people who did this to the dog rot in prison. The video made me feel fear for the first time in a while. It shows what can happen to any sentient being after so much abuse, and why it's never ok to abuse or exploit any living creature.
Did you play it with the sound on, because I really don't understand how you could view that video as just "a dog being stroked".
Maybe the academy maniac videos i watched last night desensitised me. I also saw the saddest one in which a dig was dieing after saving its owner from a knife attack. Too sad for words.
The fact is that life is essentially about dearh, pain and incomprehensible suffering. Everything is killing and eating animals so until that stops i don't see why people get all butt hurt about one dog. In china they boil dog alive at a certain festival so this one is actually lucky
So because there's so much suffering in the world we should just ignore individuals cases? The importance of certain individual cases being recognised like this is to show the reality of the damage that is caused by long periods of abuse on living beings. I refuse to just accept it as part of life to the extent where we just ignore it. Yeah sure, getting upset every time you hear of abuse is a bit silly, but the video is upsetting in the right way. Most of us love animals, and say we'd never hurt them, but sometimes it takes emotional wake up calls like this before we start truly understanding what we're talking about. It's ok to use words like "abuse" in sentences, but a lot of people do this without actually understanding the true damage that abuse causes.
You should visit an abattoir my my friend and think about it while you scoff down your dinner. It's not nice mate im just saying unfortunately the world isn't nice in general.
