You just can not defend the indefensible, Vic and Sadio cost us that game, if someone wants them, get rid and get some team players in.

I seriously doubt we would have won had Wanyama not been sent off, drawn yes.

Mane has barely made a difference in the last few games and I wouldn't want a player who thinks its ok to stroll in at any time before the match.

People seem desperate to blame Koeman today which is just bizarre. Today's result lies squarely at the feet and brainlessness of Wanyama.

RK doesn't need some kind of tactical revolution, he (and the team) need support in the transfer market.

See next two home games as already lost. WBA and Watford are better teams than us at the moment. We are that team that turns European football into relegation.

How much can we fine Sadio and Vic? That can go in the transfer pot as well.

Not entirely, LTL. It's not Victor's fault that Shane headed over and missed a one-on-one, and Dušan blazed over.

We're not enough of an attacking threat, but Victor getting sent off gave Tettey the space for that shot.

Just totally disheartening to watch us at the moment.

Sorry, Tintin, but that's absolute bollocks. Rules are there for a reason - let one person get away with them and you open up to anything. Mane would then feel he could be late or do what he wanted - putting him on the bench was the right thing to do - Ronald could have left him out completely. From what little I saw (terrible feed) he didn't exactly shine when he was on the pitch. We looked average and probably deserved a point, but Vic gave it away with a ridiculous tackle when he was on a yellow - any player, professional or not, should know not to fly in like that. He lost the game for us, not Ronald.
Oh and, of course, Gaston would have given us the game - again, sorry - I'm not a Gaston fan - he's overrated and way overpaid. The sooner we get rid of him the better - we need to strengthen the squad, yes, but not with players like that.
I only hope that now Ron will play Harry Reed and see how he can do - he can't do any worse than Vic on a bad (or average) day - which, Arsenal apart, he seems to have been all season. Can't see any club coming in to buy him now .................

Well I didn't have spaghetti, I have a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't enjoy it.

Wanyama is the obvious villain here, but I am not inclined to let Mané of the hook so easily. Totally unprofessional and I hope that this isn't some strop because he is expected to honour the contract he signed. Grrrr!

On the evidence of today I would say you were very much like Swansea. Lots of possession, passing and neat stuff but blunt up front. Get that sorted and you will be fine :emoticon-0148-yes:

That is one of your more ridiculous posts. So team discipline only applies to certain players? Your personal campaign against Koeman just gets sillier.

Okay, sure, I get that. But we weren't going to lose that game before Vic got himself sent off (and yes, I'd phrase it exactly like that).

Indeed. Apart from maybe, maybe subbing Victor during the 5-ish minute spell between him committing a foul and then committing the foul which he got his second yellow for, Ron is blameless today. And even that, Victor takes 99% of the blame.

    We are so lacklustre.

Where has the high press, intensity gone? We are literally sleepwalking down the table. We would lose to Adkins' saints team playing like this IMO. At least they showed togetherness and spirit. This side is so, so poor!
Even barring Vic's stupidity we wouldn't have scored if that game had gone on for the whole of 2016

Must admit there's not been much to get excited about this season - good news is that Victor and Sadio are doing a good job of not being bought by anyone!

Will reserve my judgment till I see the game again but again we appeared to dominate statistically but one shot on target by the opposition appears to be enough to win a game these days. I will probably start to sound like a broken record soon but for me the problem is not Koeman but the emphasis on foreign signings at the expense of home grown players. Individually they are brilliant but I just don't see the passion, stamina and commitment from the likes of Mane, Tadic, Wanyama, Pelle and Clasie.

As far as RK is concerned, listen to his post match comments. He is as frustrated as we are - and for the same reason - he is not the problem.

Make no mistake, we were let down badly by the two players that will be potentially sought after in January, if their hearts are no longer at the club, better to cash in and play hungry, committed players in, be it youth players or new signings. I'm disgusted with Sadio and Vic today.

    My assessment of today's game:

    - We didn't create enough chances
    - We wasted the chances we did get
    - Koeman waited too long to make changes
    - Victor was stupid
    - Tettey scored from where Victor should've been
    - No fight to get back into it

    Disappointing on many levels.

Wanyama cost us a point but you have to take your chances! Now I'm cold, wet and with a gloating boyfriend. Ugh
