I find amazing that we go down to ten men - and then almost instantly concede, how often have we struggled when playing against ten men? I beginning to believe that in all honesty we are not a good team at all and will be battling to stay out of the relegation table this season.

What if he's yellowed after five minutes? Take him off, or hope that a player might have the brains to be able to evaluate a situation.

It isn't Koeman standing in the way of spending. It's never the manager who doesn't want to sign players, actually.

At the end of the day we have had zero quality all game. The one chance we had we didn't take.

Well, two huge home matches against Watford and West Brom coming up in a couple weeks. We have an incredibly tough run thereafter...we need results or we'll be in genuine trouble.

Also, can we bloody well get another attacking player or two!?

Crap result once again settled by an individual error. This time it wasn't footballing so much as intellectual. Real shame. That game was there for the taking. What a wally.

Swansea having a shocking season is also of immense help to us.

But at least we're on this form before (and now during) the transfer window. You just have to hope that it kicks the board into gear. And if they really, truly don#t have the funds, then get £20m from Wanyama.

Only if they are better than we've got. We already have a crowd of average non starters backing up a crowd of non playing starters.

I think the Arsenal result was a blip for both sides...I wonder what would have happened if we lost that one too?

Very childish by Koeman. He put his personal pride ahead of the team.

Mane had to start today. We simply had no end product on the park from the start other than Long or set pieces. That side had no goals written all over it.

If Mane doesn't start then he should come on after an hour at the latest. If he is too stubborn to introduce Mane, then Ramirez should have been introduced earlier. It's a waste of time giving an attacker 5 minutes. Players don't really ever make an impact off the bench coming on after 80 minutes in the PL

It's not "personal pride" - it's called squad discipline, and he's absolutely right to be enforcing it, regardless of the player.

Nearly all home wins. Dreadful result, hopefully it will encourage us to bring in a few loan signings.

Quite. I'm still not worried. But if we lose those two, or lose one and draw one, then I absolutely will start to worry. Even including today's result, it is still only the Villa home result that I cannot justify throughout this horror run of ours. But those two can absolutely join that Villa result, if we're on the wrong end of them.

Well - that is not the Southampton that tore us to shreds earlier in the season, though perhaps the better side (marginal?)

Hope you can get the season back on track though you are in no danger of getting sucked in to the relegation zone.

I agree that Koeman had no choice to drop Mane, however if he was going to bring him on we could have done with him on earlier.
