Shame Celtic don't play until tomorrow but at least the SPL start is nearly upon us once again. Rangers v Hearts, two teams I have no love for but I will be hoping that the Jam Tarts can come away with at least a draw and I fancy that they might (quick, everyone head to the bookies and put their mortgage on a Rangers win!) Here's hoping we see some decent football and none of the crap that enveloped the game last year.
Deary me still hoping we slip up, well it isn't going to happen CapBhoy 3-0 to the Gers and tomorrow Hibs 2-1 Celtic
Imagine someone hoping their fiercest/only rivals don't win a match. What is the world coming to? 1-1.
Why's Ally doing a Walter and sitting in the stands? I thought Walter did so as to give a Ally a chance to learn while he was still there, now we've got a Celtic youth coach managing Rangers on the touchline?
Hearts have been the more potent side in the first half but I fear they might regret passing up one or two good chances. The Obua one in particular was a great opportunity to take a 2-0 lead into the 2nd half. I still expect Hearts to cause that Rangers defense trouble in the 2nd half but I think Jelavic and Naismith will get their communication right the longer the game goes on. I know I'm asking for it to come back and bite me on the arse but Ortiz has looked very unimpressive so far. Pedestrian, one-footed and indecisive.
better posting these on the Rangers board as the primary board from now on so Girvan and BH can actually contribute, especially when the huns are getting chinned
I hate to say it myself but Ortiz hasn't impressed and I hope he doesn't turn into another Nuno Capucho, hopefully it's just a case of settling in but I expect us to at least take the game to Hearts 2nd Half.
Ally should have been sitting in the stands for a few games last season if there had been any justice.
I think most people on this board and in Scottish Football want to forget incidents like that last season, but you like to bring it up you can't always live in the past it's about this season now.
Great result. Celtic to win tomorrow and set the early pace. Ally is taking his training from Walter a bit far by sitting in the stands. Wish I had taken that prediction to the Bookies.
LOL you might not believe me but I honestly did'nt have a good feeling about today I think the season has come too soon for Rangers and we don't look anywhere near sharp enough yet hopefully will improve enough for Malmo and next week, still have to see how Celtic look tomorrow but I fully expect them to win.
