Sorry guys but I haven't had time to put together a match day thread but hopefully me posting this will bring us luck. I'm actually typing this while sitting on the bus travelling to todays game and with it being a rather bumpy ride it's not that easy ! I'll be in The Queen of Iceni at 1:45ish if anyone fancies meeting up for a pint or seven OTBC
Good omen KIO - a thread is up and it had your name on it. Please try a pint of Ghost Ship for me - ale is hard to come by in these parts. OTBC
I'm relieved you have KIO as Lawrenson predicted a win for us so hopefully you posting this wards off his malevolent ju-ju
Usually before the game, you only have a choice of Wherry or Bure Gold. After the game ..... I'd a couple of pints of Ghost Ship. Mosiac is also very good.
Norwich City 13 Rudd 24 R Bennett 05 Martin 06 Bassong 12 Brady 08 Howson 27 Tettey 28 O'Neil 22 Redmond 14 Hoolahan 09 Mbokani Bezua Substitutes 01 Ruddy 02 Whittaker 10 Jerome 18 Dorrans 21 Mulumbu 23 Olsson 32 Odjidja-Ofoe
Oof Whittaker on the bench instead of Lafferty prevents me (and a couple of others) getting perfect line-ups in the predictor... Loving the look of the line-up, on performances so far that looks like our strongest. If Hoolahanis ineffective I'd like to see him take off quickly (despite his assist) because my only concern is that players like him and Tettey may be tired after the Christmas schedule.
I'm in agreement with Rob, that's probably Neil's first choice side at the moment, fingers crossed it does the business. Mane has done us a favour today. Turned up late for a team talk so got dropped to the bench, Koeman admitted he would have started otherwise. He gave our full backs a torrid time in the reverse fixture, so pleased he doesn't have 90 minutes to try and do the same again. Hopefully they have to reshuffle their game plan slightly too.
Looking very shaky at the back, but Howson had a big opportunity at the other end. So'ton getting the lions share of possession
We are playing really poorly and yet have had the best three chances. Martin, Redmond, O'Neil and Howson all guilty of giving the ball away cheaply
