I understand the excitement here but I think we have goals in us anyway asit stands. Fact is if you can't defend consistently in the Prem you'll get mullered week upon week. Anything happens to our 1st choice back 4 we are in big big trouble. At least 1 other quality defender and a keeper - that's what we should be concentrating on imo.

so getting Graham, Cauker, Moreira and Harley back from loan is not adding depth, and pratley played a bit part role last season, dorus is the major loss to us, but we will have his replacement in very soon.
but he wasn't ours to lose, so you can't count a player who already had an agreement to be elsewhere in this before he came to us, he did the job he was loaned for, and that is to score goals and help us to promotion.
We have replaced De Vries & Bodde doesn't have to play crazy minutes to fill in for Pratley's minutes . We got a got a highly touted CB in on loan & bought a highly sought after striker . We've done well without spending very much . Lots of time & money yet to spend for solid deals should they pop up , it seems clear that unless a deal is very favorable to us , it ain't happening .
I agree, but the guys point said we added depth when to me, it looks like weve more or less replaced what weve lost.
No because his agreement was until the end of season, the club knew that to begin with ! Yes I wish he stayed but there is nothing we could do so there is no loss as he wasn't ours, and we may see him still if things don't go so well with parma
Of course hes a loss to the squad, weve replaced a player that left with another striker was my point. We havent added a striker and therefore more depth to the squad. The number of players we have in that position is the same. What on earth your talking about i dont know but i dont think it had any relevence to the context of my initial post.
Yes it was very thought provoking 2 words I must admit, we have added depth because we have bought a player to replace a temporary loanee we had for two months, so before we had fabio we had the players we started the season with! So depth has been added as we bought a keeper to replace dorus with another on the way as the number 1 position is still there, plus the player we bought from Exeter is with us now, and bodde has made a return
stop panicking we are progressing nicely, when we face man city in our first game we will be well prepared and ready to give the premiership a really good go......no problems here..
No panic, i was adding to a point made by doctor love. i wouldnt go as far as saying "we have been the most aggressive of the three that got promoted. We have added quality and depth". Quality i would agree with.
