Excuse me - I think you will find there is a queue of people ahead of me if it comes to sending round the heavies. I have even stood accused of being one of your defenders

 

I think I would prefer your 'even handed' heavies to Cologne's stazi mates !!

SH. There is no such thing as Stazi - I think you may mean Stasi (taken from the word Staatssicherheitsdienst). Not wanting to engage in political debate on the nest I will content myself with the grammar lesson (as in the Latin lesson in the life of Brian) - also, all nouns begin with capitals in German.

 

He probably has American spell-check which loves to replace the "s" with a "z"

Morning all, bright and sunny in rural France, but a slightly chilly breeze which is a bit of a shock. Son-in-Laws birthday today so will be missing the match. I really do need to find something that allows me to keep up from my mobile as the Beeb always seems to be well behind and with dodgy signals in these parts I sometimes just give up.

 

I'm celebrating my 65th birthday today with my family at the Vic, hopefully Sergio Aguero won't spoil it.

No presents please Cologne!!
