I've seen a couple of angles and it was pefectly executed, a volleyed redirection in the one place the keeper couldn't reach.. after all the tap-ins he's now netted two peaches..

According to Wiki, Polter is smaller than Harry and taller than Curtis but on TV Curtis and Polter looked the same height.

Really appreciate you doing this, I think I'm going to have to look through my mums dairies and see if she has put anything about going to my first real football game, think I need to know who or when we played as it's going to annoy me

    Thanks again for looking

I thought it was 2 **** teams tonight, both had a bit of quality going forward but our defence was on top most of the time, they should have had a couple prior to us scoring but I don't think it was an unjust score line.
I was pissed off when Hudds came on for Abel H, again leaving no striker on the pitch, it seemed to give them the edge & mess up our shape, then Diomande came on for Diame & again messed us up which lead to us still trying to sort out where they should be & their goal! Why not just Hudds for Diame & Dio for AH?
Still got the 3 points & thought we deserved it overall.
Best moments outside the 2 goals, Harry's bowling ball tackle that took out 2 players, Diame looked quality above everyone else, defensively we looked great, even Robbo & Odubajo.
Ref had a weird game, seemed against giving QPR anything early on & booked Harry for what? Anyone know? Couldn't hear in the pub I was in.
Also just a quick idiot of the day, TV focus on JFH & this guy standing with his mates near me shouts out, "that's Sol Campbell!" Because his mate didn't know who it was he was adamant it was Campbell, so his mate asked someone else he knew who told him it was Hasselbank, when idiot found out, he still didn't know who he was!<laugh>

    From QPR fans website http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/forum/161720/just-back/#14
"We were second best all over the pitch, admittedly to a team that should get promoted this season. Hull were everything we weren't - they pressed high up the pitch, passed the ball brilliantly, worked hard off the ball, were physically imposing (Diame, Myler and Maguire especially) and their right and left backs were superb. The gulf in class was embarrassing at times and yet we still could/should have come away with a point. This was a premiership-to-be team making us look what we are - a bottom half of the Championship team."

A friendly being arranged with Millwall back then does seem a bit unlikely. It was the height of their fans' infamy.

I've just seen Polter's goal on TV. He passed the ball out wide from near the half way line and then three of their players headed for the penalty area. Davies was the nearest player to Polter in the area but I don't think any of our players were at fault. It was a very good run, cross and header.

I've just seen our winner. People are saying it was a mix up but the defender was comfortably going to clear it until Green punched it off his foot. Has Diamande kicked the ball yet while playing for Hull City first team?

It would be interesting to see what a neutral thought of the game, because I think this QPR assessment is true. We bossed the game and this was reflected in how quiet the crowd where, as the must have been nervous that we would win at a canter. That we didn't is no surprise to us City fans - we seldom finish teams off when we should, but hopefully it will come. Think we play like a premier team sometimes where one goal normally wins the game as should not concede, but were not good enough yet to defend a slim lead.

Because he's been really ineffective since he came back from injury and isn't hitting the same heights as he was before he got injured. Against Preston he was a total waste of a shirt and nearly gifted them a goal, in fact he was so bad Brucey hauled him off at half time.

I didn't think he did too badly today, but he was still really ineffective, I lost count of the times he refused to challenge in the air and he generally didn't do much else.
