Sorry Airlie, I read it as Maguire out of position ............. ''reading without seeing'' ........ it's an age thing!
Ye he was. But come on he got turned. fair do's. I must admit it worries me the way e manhandles players in the box. He wraps em up. cracking doublechallenge though
He worried me in the first half when he aimlessly (he was being closed down, but still!) gave them the ball about 30 yards out.
Much needed result, wasn't able to watch the game as was out, looking forward to seeing Hernandez goal. Brighton are on a bad run now, good time to play them.
Hopelessly out of position would be unfair & an injustice to a well worked goal imo. Every goal scored, ever, would fall into your definition in that case. Credit where credit is due. I don't believe I need to watch it again.
Top marks! Not sure it beats 'Dave' for Odubajo, but top cred points. Thought Mo was good today, Jake better in second half, Clucas worked hard, Meyler wasn't in the game at all imo Hopefully a draw for the top two My dad passed away yesterday so this won cheered me up Happy New Year guys!!
I wouldn't be too sure, I watched the Brighton game and they were very unlucky. They look a very good side and we're constantly on the front foot, they attacked well with good shape and pace. However fortunate it was for us they were unlucky to lose today and we will need to be at our best to win.
Luckily the coaching staff and players won't share your view, mistakes were made and they'll learn from them, it doesn't matter how good the goal was we didn't defend an attack and we conceded. Not sure what you mean by 'my definition' but for any goal to be scored a mistake has to be made somewhere, if you don't make a mistake then you don't concede.
Well that's not strictly true, someone could just hit a pearler that no one can stop, no matter where they're stood.
He took me to my first City game, although he himself was a Millwall supporter, for that I am forever grateful. Cheers guys
How did they get possession to hit the shot in the first place? How were they allowed possession within shooting distance? For them to have the ball and be in a position to shoot someone must have lost possession and then the team have allowed the opposition to advance within shooting range, both mistakes.
RIP to your Dad mate. But thats a story and a half. how did that come about if you dont mind me asking.
