I doubt that Pulis will get him playing again - not properly, anyway. I'm not sure that we'll get him, and many of us don't want him anyway, but he won't be staying at WBA, that seems pretty clear.
Looks like Pulis is trying his hardest, but he simultaneously berates him and then say's 'he's a good lad really'. I wonder if he's worth the hassle ? He's not that good. Somebody like Suarez is always worth taking on with his baggage, because he's world class, but Berahino ? HIAG has convinced himself that he'll play for Spurs, but if I were a Spurs fan (apart from Hell freezing over) I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club.
He's not a bad young striker. However, as a fan, you ask yourself how long before he does the same thing to us? There's talk in Spain that we're after Barca's Sandro Ramirez. Looks like an MP type of signing, if Barca are amenable to selling.
Pulis has highlighted issues with Berahino before the debacle over the summer. Seems like he's a lad who is always prone to going off the rails. He's clearly talented, but as you say, how long would it be before he's kicking off again over something else ?
It's the fact that Kane and Berahino worked so well together for the U21s that makes him of interest to us. I have no doubts that he will do a fantastic job for us, and that Poch will get the very best out of him.
Anyone who is interested can read your poor wum attempts, in the early part of this thread. Me, I'm trying to learn a new guitar solo, which is a far better use of my time.
So you can't provide the quote then ? Would you like to back track on this wum fail claim now, or shall I make you squirm a while longer ?
Yeah, Chuckles, you keep me "squirming" a little while longer. Meanwhile, I've got some blistering licks to learn, mate.
Ok then. Provide evidence of your claim and post the quote where I have said that Berahino will definitely sign a new contract ?
Would that be the same U21s that failed so miserably at the last U21s tournament? .. the future is bright then?
Berahino was injured if I recall and Kane was exhausted. Maybe if Kane and Berahino were there and fully fit, we'd have done better.
.. or more realistically we merely interpreted easy qualification as tournament credentials ... not for the first time ... and as we will do with the seniors in the summer if Woy isn't brave enough to pick players on form rather than by club status ... just saying like
latest on Berahino - Pulis suggesting he might be off ... but unlikely to be for the deal Levy/Spuds put on the table as Pulis wants to reinvest and he's not going to get much from a £25 million fee spread over 50 years http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35209738
... learn? ... should be perfected by now .............could try the other hand for novelty value ...
HIAG's finished playing with his stick now. So I'll await his post of my quote where I said that Berahino would definitley sign a contract with WBA. It shouldn't take him long, after all he's basing his entire 'owning' on it.
