I was all for the team that started at Preston (although if fit and ready, I'd have had Hernandez instead of Akpom, before anyone says). I always look at that midfield which Bruce favours and just can't see goals coming from it. It worked against Burnley and Middlesbrough so it's as good as anything. Whatever the shape and lineup is, Bruce just needs to make it work away from home.

Bruce is paid to pick the best team for the game, find the right tactics and to provide any encouragement they need. If he can't do that then he obviously should resign or be sacked. The performances have been bad in most of the games this season.
