[QUOTE="Ste D, post: 8743685, member: 1012065" Tough looking card at HQ but Village Vic has an excellent chance of landing the four timer.Won a hot race here a few weeks back on soft and an 8lb raise might not be enough to stop him going in again.7/2 win[/QUOTE] Boom daddyo
Happy New Year chaps Not reading the rest of the thread as I'm recording the racing to watch later so don't want to see results first. Two for me today are Three Musketeers (the next Sea Pigeon) and A Good Skin (the next Arkle when he grows up) Good luck all
Christmas Twenty caught my eye in this 2.25 Fakenham. Testing conditions should suit and he got within 2L of Kim Baileys CHARBEL- who finished a close enough 2nd to smart Supreme Novice candidate YANWORTH of Alan King. Sneaks into this handicap off 115- big chance if putting it together.
Any thoughts on this 2m 4f race at Cheltenham? I've always wanted to see TOP NOTCH over this trip. Cole Harden I think is better on faster ground to dictate from the front. However, a horse I have a real amount of respect for and especially tackling the Cheltenham hill up in trip today, in soft ground, is Lil Rockerfeller. He will get outpaced at some point but that hill and this ground gives him a real shout of a major shock in my opinion. It depends how it pans out in the middle of the race- if he can hang on to the coat-tails he should gallop on pretty well.
When you read the race almost perfectly, but Bob Walford decides he has one that can win on the staff. Never been so sick of racing as I am these past couple of weeks.
