Whatever the rate is and we knew that when we made the initial contact. As usual Bates tries his luck and ****s it up.
maybe but the 24hr recall clause was mentioned by Jol and thats one of thereasons thats been said that we didnt go for him which is right, there should not be a recall clause
All loans have a recall, never ever heard of a loan being agreed without that clause, it's funny but it wasn't a problem for Barry Bannan, but is for Stockdale!
because stockdale will be the first team keeper, we cant just give him back, you want your first team keeper to play EVERY game
well one of problems with Bates is that as we all know he doesn't care what people think of him. He's shown that time and again in his interviews and ballsy comments. So a demonstration will do **** all. We're up **** creak without a paddle I'm afraid.
Makes no difference where the player plays, you must have a squad of players for every position. The recall would be the same for all players, unless they are out of contract.
It wasn't about wages. It was that Fulham wanted a fee for the loan but also a recall clause. If you are paying a fee upfront for a loan then no recall clause should be included. Lots of clubs pay a fee upfront for season long loans, but the player will be at the club for the whole season. If we payed a fee, and then Fulham recall him in a months time, then it beats the whole purpose of paying the fee. Although it's disapointing, Fulham are being ridiculous expecting to have both.
You seriously need to open your eyes... First THE WHOLE WORLD AND HIS DOG knows that the reason Stockdale is being offered out for loan in the championship is because of a 24 hour release cause. He would be joining a Premiership team if Jol was willing to bend on that, how can you not understand this?? Second you are blindly guessing that there was a fee involved and if he plays for Leeds why shouldn't we pay his wages? You can't tell me that weeks ago Leeds were unaware of what his wages might be or how much we would have to pay? As Radebeer has already pointed out, why have Leeds wasted so much time pursuing this avenue when even to the average Joe all of this was so blatantly obvious. It says something when we want a LOAN player who openly says he wouldn't mind Leeds and who's wife wants him to play for Leeds and we still can't get him.
im not guessing there was a fee involved there are two seperate articles that i read that said there was a fee involved, and the argument was theres a fee involved yet you still want a recall clause and im not saying leeds were unaware of what his wages were, im saying i am unaware what his wages are. I'm not happy about loaning a goalkeeper but i would accpet it if it were a real quality loan like stockdale, i'd prefer us to buy but it seems unlikely
we are looking like idiots going after keeper after keeper.... Bates...sort it out..and Larry find your balls.......
yea i think we do look like idiots with not really jumping in with both feet at anyone BUT i would never spend money on a loan transfer as well as having a recall on it, fulham cant have both
but i thought Fullham had signed a number two the recall would have been used if Mark S had a very bad injury.....
i dont know, all i know is that they were refusing to let him go without a 24hr recall which they were very specific about the 24hr part which i find interesting. I wasnt aware that they wanted a fee as well, i dont know how much this fee is but i dont think as a club letting a player go out on loan you cant have both
the only way to beat bastard bates is----stay at home --dont go to any games then e gets **** all then e will av to sell
Things are gonna turn sour very, very quickly! My predictions for the remainder of 2011; (a) Gradel will go at the very end of the transfer window and the excuse for no replacement will be time! (b) NO signings will be made this summer (barring trialists) (c) Grayson will be sacked in early December with us in 14th place - reason - no balls to face up to Bates. The result of the above will see the good bad old days of frustration manifesting itself in pure violence fulled by anti bates hatred! The East stand will be the target of this uprising and bates' legacy will ripped apart screw by screw, penny by penny!
wow and only two weeks till the season kicks off..... nice to see we are internally ripping the club apart!!!!!!
christ can we go back any further....manny cousins maybe!!!!!!! a different world.... football is nothing like that now....mores the pity for what its worth.... Bates will go...i have no doubt...when who knows....but there is no point us boycotting and pushing the club downhill... sorry chaps...
