First choice of Kloop: Skrtel and Sakho or Skrtel and Lovern #Last Saturday Kloop had no choice because Lovern was injured. What is going to happen in the future? Skrtel and Sakho were able to come out with a clean sheet. What do you thinks?.
This is still a key area for us and the sooner we buy a good controlling centre back the better, Klopp said he'd wait until the Summer but I wouldn't mind betting that we get a centre back in January.
If someone like Howedes is available in January, I can't see us waiting until the summer. If Gomez hadn't have got injured then I reckon klopp would have tried him in there alongside Sakho at some point. Skrtel certainly didn't do himself any favours last week for Klopp's first game in charge.
Very hard to get very good players in January transfer` window. If his current club is still in Champion League or chance of winning their league, his club is unlikely to sell except his contract is running out and not willing to sign a new contract.
Sakho & gomez, but while he's injured I'd play anyone apart from Lovren skrtel or toure, anyone at all.
Currently Sakho and Lovern and they kept two clean sheets in our last two games. When Skrtel is fit, should they continue?.Assuming we do not buy defender in January.
Lovren & Sakho this season Sunderland 0-1 1-0 Leicester Rubin Kazan 0-1 100% wins 100% clean sheets Anyone playing Skrtel hates LFC
I prefer Skrtel. He makes clangers but he also offers more than Lovren in general a better defender. Its a tough call though... Especially with Lovren improving recently. Sakho is definitely one half our CB team when fit.
Looking forward to seeing how Lovren and Sakho get on for an extended run of games shame it's has to come via an injury to Skrtel but mout of every fire new life grows so could benefit us in the longer turn. Still think it's an area that needs strengthening but if these two with Clyne and Moreno can form a solid unit then it becomes less of a priority in January.
It's not a tough call at all Every single ****up we've seen has had Skrtel at CB We didn't win a single league game with Skrtel starting in December
That's not true at all. Biggest screwup of all was the time Lovren had all the time in the world but chose to wait until he got caught up by a rival and then decided to dribble round him instead of booting it up field... Result goal conceeded. Lovren has screwed up many times this year, especially early on.
Sktrel holds the opponent's hand and walks them to our 6 yard box every game No league wins in December with him against the might of Watford, Newcastle, and West Brom Even the LC game we won was despite him conceding in the first minute
You could randomly pick almost any other player and say we lost when they played during those three games. Sometimes "data" is just static. Everyone was bad in those games. Can't blame him.
