goes without saying we need to earn the right to beat teams. Let's win the battle and then beat them with. Football.

Not sure on the injuries but hopefully meylers fully rested, same with Dave.

    Greggsy
    Dave Maguire Davies robbo
    Elmo jake meyler clucas
    Diame
    Hernandez

    Tough 2-1 to us.

Edit I've just realized its tomorrow we play em. Bollocks what day is it

As Meyler was utterly ****ing appalling and looked absolutely knackered, in a game only a couple of days ago, I wouldn't even have him in the squad.

If Hayden is going back and hudd is off then...
Meyler played well against burnley. Probably not at full fitness but, we don't have out else.
Him and jake are our driving force.

Normally I'd agree, but Meyler was so bad at Preston I simply wouldn't consider starting him, stick Diame or Maloney in the middle instead.

On the basis that we seem to better against teams higher up the table...this is the 0-4 I've been waiting for.

I feel your pain on not knowing what day it is Chazz, you shoulda just styled it out by saying it's up a day early because people will be feeling rough tomorrow.

HDF reporting Brucey may revert to 3 at the back for tomorrow; based on Preston away that would be an increase of 3 then <laugh>

Playing Odubajo at centre back (which is what's being suggested), would be a weird decision.

It's not too much of a stretch for Dave, just positioning. He's only playing 6 or 7 yards in field.
Suppose if Meylers not right then it suits hudd with clucas and jake either side. Diame Abel upfront. Elmo and robbo. Wing backs.
Formations can win you games but. If the heart and desire isnt there it don't matter what the formation is.

Would try diomande or even Akpom up front with Hernandez , midfield three of Livermore Diame and if meyler is to tired (seems ridiculous) either huddlestone or clucas

Not even as the driver? Although I think he is too young to drive the bus, so maybe he could serve the snacks.

Akpom's best football was played with Hernandez alongside him. He's never good enough to be a lone striker, I don't know why he's played as such.

Meyler definitely needs dropping, poor kid has run himself into the ground, he was so bad at Preston it was sickening.

No players out of position please, so Diame in midfield alongside Jake, Hernandez with Snodgrass in just behind, the rest of the team slots in nicely.

The way Odubajo starts games playing him at centre-back will be a disaster of epic proportions. Meyler needs a rest so Diame is the obvious change and whats the point of signing Diomande if he's never going to play, time for him to start. QPR looked good v Brighton when I saw them a few weeks ago but if Austin is out that will help us no end. I fancy us to get a point if Austins out.

I would sooner play two forwards than trying to shove a midfielder up top

So would I, but away from home and wanting to steady the ship it's not going to happen. Safety first as Brucey always does.

As for Akpom, he's been gash for the last 2-3 weeks, has missed two absolute sitters and a number of other chances, he's simply not delivered and as for the offside rule; enough said. Take the kid out the firing line. If Diomande isn't ready to start I'd like to know why? Highlights how light we are for effective options up front
