Queens Park Rangers are keen on signing Damien McCrory, according to The Sun.
The move would mean new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink raiding his former club Burton Albion to sign the left-back.
Hasselbaink left Burton to move to QPR in November, and is gearing up to splash out in the transfer window to start shaping his team.

McCrory is a player he knows well and trusts, and his addition would be a good place to start strengthening, providing he is not worried about upsetting his former employers.
The 25-year-old hails from Ireland and is a former under-19 international for the Republic. He has been at Burton since 2012, when he signed from Dagenham and Redbridge, and began his career with Plymouth Argyle.
This season he has played 20 times in all competitions for Burton, but crucially for QPR, McCrory's contract is due to expire in June, helping their chances of convincing his club to cash in.

    This is interesting.
Assuming JFH is not stupid, it does seem reasonable to wait and see how the transfer window pans out for him and, therefore, us.
It seems likely he will have been promised some funds though how that fits in with FFP, goodness only knows.

Do you reckon he knows who Yun is?

Saying that, if we signed this guy I'd play them both

Shame SLF has obviously told JFH that all our youngsters are s***, therefore not even bothered to have a look before extending loans, instead let's get lots of crap ex Watford players, to complement our other s*** loaders. This all had to be SLFs doing because their is no way that CM would have gone to TF for Toszer, Angela, Konshesky and Perch (apologies for the spellings). We are in exactly the same boat with Ramsey as SLF is still naming the team, and JFH has not got the balls to tell him where to go, thus why Warwick departed. Gutted cos I loved watching SLF from the paddock

So JFH might want to sign someone from Burton? I could have come up with that one. More meaningless speculation.

I do hope we are in for a striker or two. Yes, sorry I know that's a bit of a no sh!t sherlock thing to post. I just fear Austin may leave and knowing us we only get three more midfielders in or something like that!:headbang:

Stroller doesn't like rumours if it's not been released as fact then we mustn't speak of it. Didn't you know.

Anyway, here is some lame wumming to try and lighten the mood.

Will QPR look at any 25 year old Welsh men or Scottish and English men? They don't need to be very good at football or know much about formations or tactics. They would blend in very well at ours...<whistle>

    Sorry, I'm out of here!

Sorry Bush, I was not having a dig mate, I was just unsure why you implied wumming from Strolls!

    Hey, peace!

How has Burton been doing since Jimmy left for us? I have not followed there progress?

If they are still doing well at the top of Div one then we should just fire most of ours and buy Burton.

    They are, and currently second.

    Burton 23 15 3 5 31 19 12 48

I expect their success may be down to the 'right' sort of people and facilities. What have their players done to us to deserve coming here and being trained how to not pass and go anywhere near the opposition goal. All whilst trying not to break a leg.

Have a heart. No-one deserves to come here, and I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Right, back to lightening the mood. Wiltshire is now sinking I have to be towed off a grass verve out side my mother in-laws house as I'd sank 6 inches into the bloody thing in the space of 10 mins, so if you want to know what the Somme looked like then just ask my mother in law.

Oh and I'm with Stroller on the not liking rumours, it was not Fleetwood Macs strongest album imo...

Sorry, I promise not to post anymore on this thread...
