I've seen enough of him to know he will more than likely be another Itay Shechter, we gave him a start in one game too, not good enough to say the least.....<ok>

Depends if he plays , not going to get caught in the " Musty Syndrome " saying Beattie would score only to have him not start any games ..you can't score if you don't play .
Eder finally got to start 2 games ,and in a row , not great in the Bouremouth game but looked pretty good against Liverpool .Somebody thought Eder was worth a 5 million pound bid , given our striker circumstance it seems criminal not to give him his shot ....simple really .
For us to walk pass this guy ,wanting to spend a bunch more money on another striker , is just another bad road we've travelled down the past few seasons imo ...

Eder had no starts and 10 subbed games games where he averaged 13 minutes a game , quite a resume to make a career judgement Phil , 13 minutes coming off the bench cold .
Players need , at the very least , a few starts to draw any conclusion on possibilities and I hope gets a few in early January before we kiss our 5 million goodbye .

Let's be honest, to judge Eder he needs to start at least 4 games in a row. Only then can we begin to judge him. What I have seen of him, I'd rather him on the bench than Gomis when Ayew is starting up front.

Not sure he is an out and out striker, I am sure he is more of a 10 who gets a few goals. Tidy player though.

True words Dai. The board seem to have forgotten what we are about. Run by the fans for the fans, more like let`s make as much money as we can while the sun shines. I have no issue with dividends being paid out to those who put a lot of money in to save the club, but there comes a time when the filthy lucre becomes the be all and end all of everything.

This premiership money has become too much of a burden for the "smaller" clubs in the league, where the "win at all costs" nature has overtaken the spectacle of good football.

Having said all that, I would rather win ugly than lose playing beautiful football, which is an anathema to what I`ve just said. If we get relegated, then we get relegated, but at least we can go down while putting up a fight, not literally of course.

He was the manager. His only concern should have been the squad and in this case Dyer. He shouldn't have sided (if true) with Jenks and Morgan and let them force Dyer out of the club all because Morgan can't keep it in his pants. Monk was the manager, he could have stopped it by coming out and saying Dyer was going nowhere.
By blocking the Dyer move, he wouldn't have lost the squad, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. What it suggests is that Monk was a puppet manager and would do anything to have kept his job.
If the stink would have become worse then tough ****, maybe it would have forced Morgan to take responsibility.

By blocking Dyers move he would have done the right and proper thing and that's all that counts for me , Monk was only worried about his own wrung on the hierarchy ladder ..imo

Does anyone have the balls to put their name to a statement in regards to the "rumours" about Dyer , because I'd be interested in seeing it
