Absolutely ridiculous. We knew that the only reason he'd come to a Championship side, was because of the 24hr recall clause, so if this is why it's fallen over, why have we wasted so much time trying to bring him in!?
are you guys serious, fulham wanted 1. a 24hr recall clause in the contract that leeds were not prepared to do and rightly so 2. have a fee involved for signing him on loan, im not being funny but if any club pay a fee for a loan signing then there ****ing stupid seriously, think about what your complaining about before you complain, you guys just hate bates for no ****ing reason and as soon as something doesnt happen the way you want you start voicing your anger against him.

No, but I don't believe for one moment that this was asked for, I would bet my life, Bates simply didn't want to pay the wages.
