Good time to take the 1st wicket and with the ball spinning nicely for Moan England could be in business post tea interval.....
How does this happen? I was listening to TMS on my laptop earlier and closed it without shutting down when I had finished listening. Having just re-opened it, the commentators have just told me 'so far so good for the SA openers' when I know the score is 109/3! The broadcast has effectively been 'recorded' from a couple of hours ago and I'm listening in the past.
Have you fallen into a wormhole? 136 for 4 at the close. Shame that Bairstow missed the stumping of ABD, but England look set to win tomorrow.
What a start - AB gone in the first over! All hope gone for SA. And now another for Moeen in his second over - 6 down already. Finn hits the top of Steyn's off stump and it's 138/7. All over before lunch?
Amazing start to the day thought I'd get a few overs in before work and wallop! I was treated to 3 quick wickets... make that 4.. Moen again! 143 - 8
174-9. What is this going to do for attendance at the next Test?! Very well done England. All over, that's a really crushing win.
Was hoping to see some action a bit later in the morning but thats squashed, great performance all round & without jimmy!
Clinical finish...... Hope I don't regret saying this.....but....No 1 test playing team in the world, you're having a laugh.......
Only a two day turnaround until the next test, excellent. S.A will have no time to regroup and recover whereas England will be buzzing and won't mind if they bat or bowl.
I think the attendances are traditionally good in Cape Town aren't they? Superb from England with Jimmy to return!
SA have a fantastic record in Capetown, but with Anderson back and Steyn most likely out, it's hard to see past another England win.
Who would you leave out to accommodate Jimmy? Woakes.....he bowled well but without much luck......Finn......that would be harsh on him. Difficult choice.
Oh well, so totally pissed off with our football it's nice to have a distraction with the 2nd test starting this morning. England have won the toss and with Jimmy Anderson back a chance to put the South Africans to the sword...
