I know 0 title challenges is pretty desperate for a team claiming to over shadow a team with 2 title challenges in the same time frame ;D Let's not even mention cup runs/wins before you look completely idiotic
Here's a multiple-choice question for you, Sucky: Which of these teams is challenging for the title, this season: (a) Spurs, or (b) 'Pool?
Answer a question with a question Typical avoidance syndrome here haig, in my field you are 1 violent act away from section 5. To show how easy it is to answer a question the answer to yours is 1st place to 13th currently
I'm not avoiding answering any questions, Sucky - that simply isn't my bag, man! You are in our shadow and have been for a while now (with the notable recent exception when you were the Prem's greatest ever one-man-band). Any fool can see that you have been in a spiral downwards, and that Spurs have been on a spiral upwards. The problem with listening to the 'Pool-loving media is that it will serve only to feed your delusion, my friend, and that is something I have been fighting, very hard, to rid you of.
I think you mean that Luis Suarez single handedly made a title challenge for you - when he wasn't otherwise occupied biting people.
Rogers was and is an arse mate...thats why ALL pool fans were pleased he was sacked. He stated that spurs should have won the league after having spent £100m ... completely ignoring the loss of Bale...then promptly spent more than £150m and claimed pool wouldn't do a spurs. The only way he was right was spurs went from 5th to 6th having wasted £100m whereas pool went from 2nd to 6th having wasted £150m. Will we win the league ... imo no...but we have a manager who has improved Kane, Mason, Dembele, Lamela, Rose, Walker, etc. he is not dependent on a super star...he is dependent on a team ethic which he has introduced and developed...Rogers achieved **** all and came across as a joke, just like AVB and Sherwood did...full of meaningless soundbites and quickly found out...can't see that happening with Pochettino whether or not he wins anything with us
Yet another sky poisoned mind...Leicester, Watford and Palace doing well while Chelsea and United struggle makes it sub standard? So we should all long for the days when it was just between United or Arsenal, or United or Chelsea, or United or City or City or Chelsea? Ever year we know the title fight is between 2 clubs and we know which 2...ever year the same 4 come in the top 4...only spurs have broken that CL barrier since Leeds 15 yrs ago. This year at xmas there are 4 clubs in the hunt...which is unheard of...and the top 4 is up for grabs to Leicester, City, Spurs, Arsenal, Palace, Watford, United and possibly West Ham...yet that's a substandard league? Guess you think the league cup is mickey mouse and EL is a joke too...why do you actually take part in a football website if you can not enjoy what a great season this is?
I would tend to agree ... the league is sub-standard because the usual suspects aren't all up there? ... we have just matched a team, blow for blow... with a front four of Sergio Aguerro, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bryune and David Silva ... oh and with some bloke called Yaya Toure right behind them ... reality is that the cannon fodder is biting back this season because the immoral amount of money circulating around the EPL is enabling the fodder to bite ... saw the stats before the game tonight ... our team was assembled for £18m ... Man City's for something like £250m ... but the better stat is what our team is now worth ... must be close to £150 m .. we have grown organically ..which is great ... but look at Stoke's squad £150m-£175m? ... the gaps are getting smaller and the league is therefore more competitive ... not lacking in quality ...
The other thing is that clubs are saying no to big bids for their players - Stones beiong a prmie example. As the money increases they can afford to keep doing it.
What dream is that exactly you deluded little ****bag? Top 10 finish is all I want. Forever in Arsenal's shadow.
