Not bothered.... More concerned that Cellino continues to own our club and still drags us into unwinable fights.
I said after Brighton played Charlton that they were getting exposed at the back and that I doubted they would remain on top well its happened rather quickly ,When we are all disapointed with a draw last night it shows how far we have come on with Evans .So trust me when I say we have every chance of getting into top 6 Lafferty looks like its a done deal as Norwich have signed Naysmith for 8mand Hibs have signed Dagnall so Cummings who looks a good young striker to me could be another marquee signing for us Sadly Byram will be leaving us but Bridcutt will stay in a deal plus cash from Sunderland Wouldn't mind Chris Taylor or Chris Burke to take Byrams spot
Morning all. A good point, even more so given that we could have won, Wood scored, and Wooten continues to show he's a decent RB.
Oh no I'm not its about time you gave me some credit you might learn a thing or two I said give Evans a chance, I said I would have sacked Rosler when he said we had no chance of top6 Well what do you say to that
Morning 60. Let's settle for him being a work in progress. Of more concern would be Bamba. Team captain, yet makes such a rubbish challenge for their goal. Du to him not playing for a few weeks, or needs to work on his game?
Last couple of games I have watched him and I would say he is our most improved player along with Byram not our best players but definite improvements that coincides with better results and performances. Dallas is another that has slowly got better I still don't like Evans but I can't argue the fact that the team has improved under him, I don't need to like him though as long as we keep getting slowly better. Just wonder how much it will harm us when Bridcutt goes back and Byram is sold.
So we start 2016 12th 9 pts off the playoffs. Not too bad. But if Cellino wants us to hold on to our crown jewels and compete for a top 6 spot, it isn't quite the pipe dream it might have appeared to be a few weeks ago. Order of priority: Get Bridcutt on a contract; keep the kids; get another goal scorer if one somehow becomes available; & either use Botaka as our creative midfielder or get one to run the midfield.
Bookmarking your bookmark.... On a serious note PSD for all I don't get involved fair play to you for all the time and effort you put in on your various games on here. ( I have no chance of winning against all these Mensa and know everything about everything types)
At our lowest ebb we were equidistant (5 points) from play off and relegation places. to all intentents and purposes we are still equdistant from both but are now further away from play off places (9 points) despite some on here thinking we are the new invincibles.
A team takes time to assemble. I believe we have the nucleus of young players to form a decent team. It seems to me that since the arrival of Steve Evans the team are playing better football. We need stability which hopefully will bring consistency. We need to retain as many of the young players as possible and we could progress in 2016.
Given that Cellino isn't short of a penny or two and he would benefit financially if we were in the PL, why would he sell our best players unless we were to get silly money bids for them?
See Evans has commented that he won't sign any bad apples - oblique reference to Anthony Stokes' run-ins at Celtic maybe?
