Man, you talk but I read hamster on a wheel, that's what talking to you is like due to that weird weirdo stalker streak you have. I think Tobes has one too.

I shudder to think of whatever thrills you get from it.. Probably gets the auld adrenaline going does it? Dry mouth? Heart racing? Hammering the keyboard?

Try a doob, you still get a dry mouth and racing heart, but you dont hammer the keyboard, you dont hammer anything much really :D

    Do you mean:

me asking you to explain your claim that AIDS was man made?
    OR
asking where the hole came from in twin towers if not from a plane?
    OR
asking you to support your claim that racist police were the cause of the whole "clock /fake bomb " scenario?

    are these not worth answering?

'Interesting' article by Littlecock in the Mail:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/a...JOHN-gilded-elite-betrayed-sodden-masses.html

Seems to be berating the authorities/government for not spending more on flood defences (or less on foreign defences, as the case may be), but then goes on to deny any climate change whatsoever.

As I've said, I live in a city that floods and I knew that when i moved there (though my home was supposedly miles away from flooding when I moved there in '97 - now the Environment Agency is sending us text messages that there's a medium risk of flooding in extremes like this week. My suspicion is that there's been too much building on flood plains along the whole Vale Of York as opposed to simple climate change (not denying it's happening though). Bizarre, as there's derelict land around the ring road that's not being used, and I'm sure that's the same with a lot of urban areas.

Oh, and we need to plant forests in the Dales and **** the sheep, in my opinion. AND, there's a city between Leeds and Liverpool surrounded on three sides by hills - if we built a dam to the west of Manchester there would be a fantastic, part natural reservoir and hydro-electric basin. We could also wipe out BBC Salford and drastically reduce crime and benefit levels in the North as well.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing (yet), but how exactly would that help?

Already working on the turbine design for the Swansea bay tidal lagoon with Andritz, hydropower is good, but you need to flood large areas.

Norway, Finland and Sweden have the natural terrain that fits small hydro(Kaplan) but big hydro like three gorges are not great for the environment IMO

Was reading that, all the money got soent in the south, which is why the north is flooded so bad, same in Ireland, no defences built

El Nino and La Nina's bring floods on because of heavy precipitation, especially el nino.

La Nina 2007\08 seen flash floods in Dublin City, mind you 2 decades of washing concrete down sewers from building in the boom, helped create such a bad situation.
but here this was global warming too
1771 was the year Captain Cook discovered Australia. It was also the year that the 500 year old Tyne Bridge in Newcastle collapsed from a massive flood “twelve feet above high water mark in spring tides

An Account of the Great Floods in the Rivers Tyne, Tees, Wear, Eden

Had Captain Cook been outfitted with low carbon candles, this tragedy could have been prevented.

Donga you rightly suggest fixes, like not clearing trees and such, plus dig canals and dredge rivers, rivers have not been dredged in the UK for over a decade thanks to regulations, guaranteed to cause issues. Others want to talk about taxes and regulations to deal with what may or may not happen100 years from now, **** what is happening right now eh <doh>

Long Island New York, December. 75f degrees. 1998, right after an intense El Nino that year.

El Nino is supposeed to become more severe says CAQW, yet it has declined steadily since 1998 in intensity, this year it did not even warm the troposphere.

This source has 73.4 but others have 47f, his year was 67, in 1949 it was 63,

A 4f degree difference over 70 years and ******s claim "man made global warming is real.

Tobes called it global warming when I first brought this up, now he calls it climate change #movethegoalposts

People actually believe that because there was no mass media before recent times, bad weather did not happen <doh>

Give me money and let me regulate you and I can control the weather, does that sound crazy, well that's the man made climate change fraud

Meanwhile, with all the money going round, IPCC 40bn, how much of that 40bn would have helped with flood defences?

It's not stopped one flood, saved one life, nothing.

If we had spent the last 30 years adapting... the north of England would be flood proof, people moved from flood plains.

ONly a ****** thinks differently to that.

This "cause" needs disaster to keep it going

No, people understand that the global temperature has risen due to mans industrialisation and this temperature rise is leading to a change in weather patterns and more extreme events, that go beyond the 'normal' cycle.

Only climate change deniers cling to the past, like some balloon posting a piece from the C18th that describes a flood to somehow dismiss the current UK weather issues.

@Tobes you can still acually make your point about glaciers you know. What was your question? You never said, you talked about all galciers on earth and said they were all melting, or most, while ignoring Greenland, the benchmark location for global temps.

    You people I swear <doh>

Greenland has seen 8 degreec swings in average temp in 30 years. 8 ****ing degrees, throughout the last 40,000 years of O18 ice core data readings. 018 is created by the sun, so Ice beneath cannot gain O18. Much better than isotopes from ice cores, far more accurate.

Greenland has not swung a degree in 30 years since this scam began

Greenland's gov is feeling the freeze the past few years and their president is asking for an way out of this climate cack. Because Greenland NEEDS fossil fuels, they are freezing their balls off.

Finland gets no sunlight for a chunk of the year, solar? Baahahahahaha

Finland is flat and not that windy either, wind?

    Maybe Magic?

Finland is nuclear subsidised, thankfully, even my winter bills are less than your summer bills in the UK cos much of my leccy bill is not green subsidies like you lot.

3 winter months cost me €94 last year, that's all lights on after 3pm in for much of winter. Sauna, kids us everytyhing. This fraud is killing old people in the UK cos they cannot afford the energy prices

Obama" I want to essentially triple energy prices"
UK Gov Energy Minister 2 years ago "time of cheap energy and 24x7 power supply are over" and the UK did run out of juicethis year, ended up paying 3k per mwph when the going rate was £60, thanks to wind failing with no wind. Does Cameron and Co have cronies in the Gas business? The grid was paying 3k for 60 quid worth of gas
