Sorry, Cheshire, I don't think that's right. As I posted on the other thread, in Spain the clubs bargain individually, the big two get the most, it's why scumchester were in favour of it here but couldn't drum up the support. The prem decided collective television rights keeps the league at least semi competitive. So we get the same share as the rest of the division and extra when we're televised.
Ah to hell with the begrudges, Cellino and Evans are OK in my books. Long time since I enjoyed the armchair this much
Sorry Chesh, again that's not right. We do get more of the pot. We get the 2.3 million everyone gets plus the 100-120k when televised. So at nine games we've had around an extra million than say Rotheram who won't be on as much. Now if Cellino doesn't think the Sky amounts are enough that's another argument and one he needs to take to the FL with the other chairmen when negotiations start for the next TV contract. Bottom line is he can't decide for himself mid contract.
Lucky for you then that he didn't post again - he would have made you look even sillier than others do - would have been a bit embarrassing for a self confessed Mensa member to hook himself in Chesh fashion and they probably have changed the rules since 1932
Checked it out. Both were on 5 yellows right enough, but it's only the PL that has Dec 31st as the cutoff. Our cutoff is November 30th
