This is the position I feel we need strengthening, we need a quality goal scoring attacking midfielder. Steve Davis is hard working, industrious etc etc but not a goalscorer. We are so very reliant on our strikers to score that when they have an off day or are marked out of the game we can't score

Great young player with massive potential, but a difficult attitude. I believe that Marquinhos can be prised from Palmeiras for about 9m, and is a much better option.

It is possible however, that the Black Box utilizes data that is both more recent and comprehensive than the database from my 2009 Football Manager save.

Having seen them discussing Berahino on MOTD and how he has fallen out of favour at WBA, I'd be very pleased if Saints tried to sign him in January. Think it would suit him, them, and us.

Although one wonders whether he was influenced by Aidy Ward, who was his agent as well as Sterling's at the time of his transfer saga, interesting that he still hasn't made up with Pulis though

 

Saw and read interviews with him about 2 years ago and he seemed very grounded..... Seemed to a devout Christian with strong values....

Something has gone very wrong somewhere to fall as far as he has. I know he hasn't covered himself in glory, but I'm sure he's had a helping hand in looking like a tool.

Have wondered if Ronko could work his magic with him....?

Maybe, but only if there is a buyer. Wasn't the talk 14-15m last year? So if he's now 20m+, that may put him in a bracket where he's up against even better players and so finds himself not wanted????
