He does seem like a troublemaker. Even before the transfer window Pulis had highlighted that his behaviour was a problem.

I'm sorry but your insistence on picking up on the 'getting his head down' comment and ignoring the point of my comment which I was right about, puts you in the same desperation category as HIAG. It's a bit pathetic, because you do seem able to hold a decent debate when you want to.

As for Berahino I think Spurs would do well to steer clear of him. His behaviour during the transfer window was poor to say the least. Also Pulis has said on a number of occasions that he's a disruptive influence and has alluded to his lack of 'Father figure' leading him to get in with the wrong crowd and develop a poor attitude.

It seems that his patience is running out and looks like he will try and cash in on him in January rather than lose him on a free. The trouble is that his value will be affected by the negativity around him. Shame Mourinho isn't still at Chelsea because I'm sure he would have mistakenly thought that he could get the best out of him.

  5. Thanks to PNP for completing the circle on this and PIXie's dishonest attempt to avoid admitting he's been "owned" on an epic scale.

The line in PIXie's earlier post (kindly referenced by PNP in his excellent repost) is this:-

"Either that or he'll stay with WBA and he'll sign a new contract, thereby increasing his value to WBA."

I want to know if PIXIE stands by that prediction, and whether if - when he is, inevitably proven to be wrong - he will provide me with the apology that I so clearly deserve, together with full reinstatement on the Gooner board?

  6. Which is exactly what I have been arguing since the Summer, and which you have wummed and derided me for stating!

More spin, PIXie. At this rate, we are going to have to nick-name you Mr Mandleson!

Yet again, you have tried to wum and have been found out to be sorely wanting, PIXie.

Do the honourable thing, admit you were wrong, make your apology, and join with us on wishing Berahino and Levy a smoothe and easy transaction in January.

  7. How was I wrong?

Berahino did threaten to go on strike. I was merely reporting news.

What I went on to predict is that WBA had made a rod for their own back in trying to appease a player who clearly wants away from WBA, and in that I have been proven to be right.

What I also said was that WBA would have to sell hm in January or offload him for peanuts in the Summer. Either way, Levy would end up getting his man. Whilst I have, not yet, been proven right in this, I steadfastly remain of this view, and every indicator demonstrates that I am more likely to be proven right than wrong.

PIXie saw this as an opportunity to attempt a wum. He has already been partly "owned" on an epic scale, and I am confident that his "owning" will be completed in either January or the Summer. It seems that PIXIE now accepts this to be a possibility because he has been spinning like a top, desparately trying to recover some dignity under circumstances where he has been completely and utterly undone.

You can't be banned from your own board. If that happens, then you just get banned, IIRC.

<laugh> I knew it would only be a matter of time before you were back to compound your wum fail.

'Either that, or he'll sign a new contract' what do you think the 'either that' refers to HIAG ?

    I'll remind you:

'If he continues to improve as he has been, then by the time he becomes available again, one of the big clubs will come in for him, knowing that they will be in a key bargaining position as he's on a short contract. Either that or he'll stay will WBA and sign a new contract, thereby increasing his value to WBA'

So do I stand by the comment that he'll either be sold when he's available again or stay with WBA ? Yes I do.

I'm looking forward to you trying to squirm out of your comment that I will 'inevitably be proven to be wrong' though :)

You're incorrectly paraphrasing your own comment, Piskie.
You said that he would either improve and move to a bigger club or sign a new contract with West Brom and stay.
If he doesn't improve, which he clearly hasn't, yet moves on in January, then you're clearly wrong.

I'm sure that you'll somehow try to convince yourself that this isn't the case, though.
Your attempt to change it to what's essentially "he'll either stay or leave" is just ridiculous, as that's true of every single player in the world.
    Those are the only possibilities.

You're clutching at straws again <laugh> I said quite clearly that he'll either move to a bigger club or stay with WBA.

Enjoying watching your increasing desperation in failing to prove me wrong though, are you trying to outdo HIAG ?

That may be the case now, but i remember we had a poster called robinvanbergkamp who got banned from our board, and was still posting on other boards.

I am surprised you don't remember this, as it must have been you that initiated his banning, he went mad at you and spurf because you would not ban PISKIE from your boards, he had a total meltdown, and was not allowed on the spurs board, it was ether for 48 hours or one week, this was 2 or 3 years ago now, but i definitely remember it happening.

  18. I think you are referring to a time when I was sat on the naughty step for a while. I wasn't "banned" from the Spurs board, I was prevented from using the entire site for a while. A bit like Lee (the Spanner). I had a slight falling out with a couple of our mods - it happens. I got barred for a week. Lee threatened to stab and shoot people - he got barred for a week.

The Spurs mods seem to be a lot stricter about these things than the Spanner mods. I'll give you that.

I don't think so <ok> I'm waiting to see how you try and squirm out of your claim that I will 'inevitably be proven to be wrong'

Remember I said that 'When he becomes available again, one of the big clubs will come in for him. Either that or he'll sign a new contract with WBA'

Unfortunately for you, you got a little bit over excited and tried to wum, claiming that I said he'd definitely sign a new contract. As usual, without thinking, you have set your own trap for yet another wum **** up.

  20. PIXIE, try to spin this as much as you like, but everyone knows exactly what you said. You're poor attempts to spin this in your favour is serving only to deny you even a shred of dignity.
