The needy weirdo will plough in regardless of how stupid it makes him look.

I've wound him up so many times that he's become so desperate to try and get back at me, he just wades in without thinking and makes an even bigger tit of himself.

I barely have to lift a finger and he's there without fail ****ing up his wum attempts. I have the silly **** on a piece of string <ok>

Ah the old "windmilling" response has returned. Great comeback bro!

I'm not really sure our dream is "over" as such. Top 8 and a cup run was the hope and still seems feasible.

Anyway, are you excited HIAG? Tonight you get to spend the evening desperately cheering on Olympiacos in the hope that you can start a hilarious thread about Arsenal going out of the champions league!

Are you gonna watch it in your bedroom or is your Mum gonna let you watch it downstairs on the big telly?

  5. Ah, the good old "you still live at home with your mum" comeback!

I never get tired of that one. Others on here don't, either.

  7. I thought this thread needed a bump. It's the story that refuses to go away! Here's the latest news:-

Saido Berahino 'lucky' to be on West Brom bench, says Tony Pulis

West Brom manger Tony Pulis said striker Saido Berahino was lucky to be on the substitutes' bench for the 1-0 win over Newcastle on Monday. Berahino has not started a game for the Baggies since October 31 and Pulis hinted at behind-the-scenes issues. Before the match, Pulis said: "He's lucky to be on the bench, never mind starting. He's a smashing kid but lets himself down at times."

Berahino, 22, threatened to strike this summer after rejected transfer bids. Tottenham made two bids on 1 September - transfer deadline day - and in the wake of West Brom's refusal to let him leave the striker has so far had a disappointing season, scoring just three goals. The England Under-21 international's appearance against the Magpies was his eighth in a row as a substitute, although afterwards Pulis denied there was a rift between him and his player.

(Taken from the BBC Football website)

Now, some of you may recall that I was lambasted on this thread by PIXie and many of his lame-brained disciples for suggesting that Berahino would be a troublesome player for WBA, and that the club will have wished that they had taken Levy's offer, and sold to us in the Summer. I have been proven right, and PIXie, yet again, has been proven wrong.

PIXie predicted that Berahino would sign a new contract, so that the club could fleece Levy, should he come knocking for the player, in January or next Summer. I said that it was ridiculous to suppose that Berahino would do anything that would make a move to Spurs even less likely than last Summer. To date, Berahino has refused to sign a new contract. Again, PIXie has made himself look like a complete mug, whereas I have been proven correct in everything I said.

I am not expecting an apology from PIXie (or his idiot followers) - I am an adult, and I have already moved on from that - but I do hope that we can all, now, discuss this topic without the pathetic wumming.

So, lads... Do you expect Berahino to come to Spurs in January, or in the Summer - bearing in mind that if WBA leave it to the Summer, they will have no say in the matter, and Levy will get his man for peanuts?

I've always maintained that we'll get him in January, unless WBA's twat-owner is prepared to take a loss of several £ million in order to make a point, and I seriously doubt he can afford to do that. Therefore, I am expecting Berahino to be a Sours players in January.

Finally, do you lads think that this debacle will send out a message to the rest of the football world that you simply do not mess with Levy? Even if it doesn't, I think it will certainly enhance Levy's enormous reputation for being a financial whizz-kid, and a hard-ass negotiator.

But what do you lads think?

    Wow, what a rant <laugh>

I'm afraid your desperate attempt to be proved right has ended up being another wum fail though mate, what I actually said was :

'If he continues to improve as he has been, then by the time he's available again, one of the big clubs will come in for him. Knowing that they will be in key bargaining position because he's on a short contract. Either that or he'll stay with WBA and he'll sign a new contract, thereby increasing his value to WBA.'

Looks like Pulis is running out of patience with him and could be looking to offload the troublemaker. Question is do Spurs really want a disruptive figure in the dressing room ?

  9. I expected that you would attempt to put a spin on your previous comments, PIXie. Shame.

However, it is heartening to see that you do attempt to discuss Berahino's move to Spurs (as I predicted) in a sensible manner, towards the end of your plaintive excuse-post.

Will he be a disruptive influence in our dressing room? I don't think so. At WBA, he's clearly the "daddy" player, and one who is being forced to play at a club that he expected to have left, in the Summer; at Spurs, he'll be merely one of a number of "daddy" players, and not even the best of those "daddy" players, so I expect he'll find his place, and learn to start loving his football again. Spurs will, of course, reap the benefits of a happy Berahino, and he and Kane will start banging them in for fun!

    Happy days, eh, PIXIE!

Really? This was the actual quote:

Missed out the bit about Berahino knuckling down and getting on with his job, for some reason, as well as the link to the quote.
    No spin at all...

He has got on wth the job. Also the point was that I said either a big club will come in and take him knowing he's on a short contract it WBA will try and tie him down with a new one.

You're beginning to sound as desperate as HIAG <ok>

You're clearly wrong. Your attempt to edit out the first part of the relevant sentence shows that you know it, too.
    Very dishonest.

Got on with the job?? Even Pulis says he's lucky to even make the bench! He's doing as little as he can get away with and still get paid!

"You've got to look and understand Saido's had almost five months where he's not prepared himself or got himself ready and prepared to play in the team."
    Tony Pulis, yesterday.

Your increasing desperation to outdo HIAG for clutching at straws is quite funny though :)

You said that he'd get his head down and get on with the job.
Tony Pulis is clearly saying that he hasn't. Do you know something that he doesn't?
Ridiculous attempt to avoid admitting that you're wrong.
