We've got the best squad in the league and we're not getting the best out of them, we should be top two (we won't be third for long the way we're playing, we beat the good teams, then don't turn up for the crap ones). The dissatisfaction many have with Bruce isn't based on where we are in the league, it's because we've been underperforming and playing largely **** football for almost two years.
So Cellino is now blaming jock........... Yet another fight he has had to back down from (Cellino - not jock)..... Could Cellino be any more clueless. its a good job his dad left him a large fortune, he is turning it into a small fortune and if he was an ordinary Joe he would be penniless and destitute.
I'd take Chris Martin, Will Hughes (once he's back), possibly a couple of others but overall I don't think they've got a better squad, their second most expensive signing ever is someone who couldn't get a game for us last season.
He got their attention and I think that's all he wanted to do.Plus sky may think twice before putting us down for many more home tv dates.
I salute Cellino for looking after our club on his matter. Do you think that Sky should be calling the shots in our league? Do you think it's fair to hold us to a contract that we have no sight of, and therefore cannot ratify whatever negotiations have taken place? Do you think that Leeds suffer no disadvantage with the curent setup. Do you REALLY think we should grin & bear it? Do you really think that Cellino would not permit entry? Did it not cross your mind that he was trying to make a point? Do you really think Cellino was in breach of the FL rules (kindly reproduced in post #33 by our tame wallie)? I see no mention of notice required. Sky got in eventually. No rules breached (unless the masonic contract stipulates otherwise, only it's a secret). Do you all think it's fair that some clubs play only 2 games on Sky (probably against one of bigger clubs), yet get £2.5m for very little inconvenience? Do you think it's fair that the few bigger clubs may feature perhaps 15-20 times, with all of the associated disruption, for a mere £100k a game (about 3000 bums on seats)? We're Leeds. We fight for what is right. For Leeds. Don't listen to Glory Blatter or TC Platini & their nonsense.
