I think the hypocrisy needs to be addressed tbh.

what has poch achieved that Rodgers has/did not?

When did spurs become title winners to give them bragging rights?

The right direction is not the same as success imo, the right direction can turn into the wrong direction very quickly as proven with many title hopefuls over the years, what makes your current right direction successful without anything to show for it?

    Cheers

All Rodgers achieved was spending a ****load of your money buying crap players. Pochettino has built a side that just might win the title on very little money.

You're attempting to put words in my mouth and to split hairs. If saying that we have a team that is, on current form, as good as any other in the Premiership. If saying that MP has done s damn good job in building a side that even looks capable of achieving that, on next to nothing, if that's bragging, then yeah, I'm bragging.

The problem for all football fans is that as soon as you suggest your team has a chance of winning the league there's a pack of supporters from other clubs ready to pounce especially if you slip up. On this site you just know that the forum of the winners will be empty come May aside from their own fans whilst those who have launched unsuccessful challenges will have more visitors than a Brighton knocking shop during party conference season. The main thrust of slaggings off will be "and you said you'd win the title"! Anything slightly positive that you may have said will be ythrown back at you - and I know as I've done it myself <laugh>

Will Spurs win the league? I don't know. Can they mount a serious challenge? Yes of course they can. And just for the record, no I don't think my team will be winning the title this year!

Money gets wasted all the time in football mate, just look at the 100m you lot done that year, what since then have you to show for it?
Rodgers came 2nd, again what has Poch done in reality while at spurs? So far No trophies no cl and you call this success?

You all live in lala land imo, bragging about consistent mediocrity and the "possibility" of maybe winning a title ffs

At least you can tell haig doesn't believe the crap he comes out with lol

This has always been my gripe with Spurs, they're a team who have done pretty much NOTHING of any relevance in the past 30 years or so, yet still apparently on the cusp of winning something big, CL football each season. Pure delusions.

It gets worse than that. Pundits say that a club's going to do something or are capable of it and then that gets thrown at fans.
Other team's managers and players talk a team up and that gets used as ammunition.

Most Spurs fans are saying that we're light up top and are drawing too many games.
We're doing well, but it's a work in progress.
That doesn't make a good headline, though.

You keep,on going on about bragging. I'm just stating what is blindingly obvious to anybody but a blinkered mouser ( now, there's something new!) we have a CHANCE of winning the league.

Yes, money gets wasted all the time. You asked what MP had done that Rodgers hadn't, I told you.

And it was Luis Suarez and some others who came second that year, not Brenda!...

Yes, I understand that, Dan. I think Spurs fans are entitled to feel optimistic for once in a while,

He's just a deluded Mouser who fancies himself as a Wum too.

TBH, we'll be very lucky if we do win it. I expect the usual suspects will be waving their fat cheque books around in Jan and will be desperate to strengthen.

Yes you and around 13 other teams including us have a mathematical chance of winning the league, congratulations on that success lol

So Poch has achieved nothing then.
Apart from "building" a team with a chance of winning the title along with around 13 other teams currently.... In possibly the strangest season for years where the usual suspects have been awful,..... superb management I agree can totally see now why you are destined for greatness (my arse)

    Jokers and some :D

The only thing I know about your arse is that you love talking out if it.

MP has done a great job of building a side that is capable of taking on anything that any other premiership team can offer.

If Liverpool were in the position that Spurs are in and not mid-table with negative goal difference, then the Scouse horde would be unbearable.
Lawro, Beglin, Thompson and all of the other former Anfield ****bags would be hailing the team as the title holders already.
We'd hear and read endless rants about how amazing it was and how it was fully deserved.
Constant "back where the club belongs" bullshit.

A couple of opposition players and managers say something nice about Spurs and people go into meltdown.
    ****ing ludicrous! <laugh>

They keep rattling on about their past greatness. Ok, so we've never won the premiership. Neither have L'Pool, at least we look closer to doing it than they do.

There is no meltdown here, just pointing out the difference between "possible chance of success" and actual real life tangible success, which as pointed out previously spurs have not come close to for 50odd years.

    I'm happy to help :D

Nobody was claiming that Pochettino had lead Spurs to the league title this season.
More delusion from the Scouse side.

What's your next name change going to be when Klopp ****s it up, by the way?

You should maybe read back to haig and nowstutteringinspain last few posts, proving you can win the title this year and scoffing at the success of other teams when you have had none yourselves in half a century ;)

Lala land = white Hart Lane

PS my next name will be equally as witty as my last and current, it's not something you can plan it has to be spontaneous.

HIAG and NSIS proved that we can win the title? How did they do that, exactly?
You just sound butthurt at anyone other than Liverpool being vaguely involved in things near the top of the table.
I know that this year is your year and all that, but that'll still be true next year. And the year after that...

You talk so much utter bollocks, it's hilarious.

I have proved that we have a CHANCE of winning the title. Certainly more chance than your sorry lot, at the moment.

If you dippers didn't think you were still so great, despite all evidence to the contrary, people wouldn't laugh so much. It's a myth perpetuated by the overwhelming amount of ex mouser pundits on TV.

You last won a title almost 26 years ago, probably longer than you've been alive!

Much better than West Ham? That's both historically and in the present.

It's nice to see that our resident trio of West Ham fans have finally recovered from the battering that their team took at WHL, though.
    Welcome back.
