Anyway what result do we want tomorrow? A Leicester win puts us back 2nd but 4 points ahead of City. A draw leaves us first with a 3 point gap over City. A City win also leaves us first but with a 1 point gap instead. For the long run IMO a Leicester win or draw is most preferable
Do you seriously think it was not a red card? It was an awful studs first tackle into the top of his leg...how is a red harsh?
Bit too early to be thinking about this yet, you have January and February to get through before you start worrying about your competitors.
It was defo a red. Though Spurs lucked out with not conceding a PK and Son being offside. Oh well. You'll probably finish Top 4 this season tho.
Draw would be nice, but a City win would knock the sails out of Leicester, it would be back-back defeats for them, and will no doubt start bringing some of their players down to earth.
Not this season, until they lost to Liverpool, they only lost 1 game, against us back in August or September I believe, so they are starting to get that confidence and invincible feeling, they have now lost to Liverpool, and so if they lose to City, the back-back loses will make them less confident.
You must have forgotten what winning feels like though, right, when it comes to your own team? 8 games without a win now? dang.....
Jan and Feb always two huge months for Arsenal as it is usually where it all goes wrong and I suspect it will be same old if Wenger refuses to use the Jan window.
Signings rarely hit the ground running. There is a reason Jan signings aren't usually dramatic - it is April before they are fully acclimatised to the team and the season is nearly over. Unless a rival is prepared to sell a key player from the prem, I don't think Jan signings will have much bearing.
I generally agree with your point, but we are apparently in negotiations to by Elneny, a DM from Basel, which should make a tangible difference to our midfield almost immediately.
I'm hoping we get a DM and the guy mentioned is good enough at our level. Hopefully he fires and we should be able to sustain our title challenge with more stability and confidence. It also gives us more options and allows some players a rest!
