Id say our league position might affect decision Chesh. If still in with a playoff shout in mid Jan then keep him. Cellino still gets 2m compensation at end of season anyway

Given the weather, is the game safe for tonight? Remember, it's also the surrounding areas that are affected as well which will inform the decision

    Morning to all suffering fans.
On the Sky front would not all FL club have known the contractual conditions agreed with Sky on their behalf ??
If not then Cellino has a point about being over exposed and at the expense of agreed fixtures being changed with little notice.

Sky have run football for a number of years now and are making a lot of money which in the main goes to the PL.
They are now starting to screw the FL.
The FL surely cannot deny a FL club from knowing what has been agreed on their behalf.

    Matt, on the Byram question and the options you listed you have missed off the main one;

    e) What Byram decides is in his best interests.

As for any proceeds from any sale !! That will probably follow the McCormack pattern.

Actually the truth is somewhere within that comment. Not involving Glory in your quote but I have not enjoyed some of the thread's on the LUFC board being very repetitive with the usual same outcome. I prefer the football realated topics and enjoy the team news and match reports. We all have views and I feel the differing opinions should be respected without any abuse, direct or obtuse.

In addition I do enjoy running my prediction games and that does take up a bit of my time unless I am in my fantastic garden of 50 yearss development... So to make an old many a lot happpier with the site please try to respecteach other and cut out the missspelt ******* comments as we can all rearrange them ! In addition lets have a few more joining in predicting and showing us al how talented we are at the game we all love.
All the best for 2016 on all fronts, especially health, wealth and LUFC success.

I will try to post a bit more on football topics and advise that religion and politics can be poison to debate at the best of times.

Sky are the last corporation Cellino should go to war with.
Like it or not, they are the money men behind football and as such the English football pyramid is the best in the world.
True that most of the money goes to PL but every team benefits from it - Leeds have Bridcutt on loan and are only paying half his wages (like Barkley,Townsend and many more before them) - would not happen without the sky cash.
In the unlikely event that Leeds ever made it to the PL how would you feel if Sky turned round and said Leeds have broken our contract so they will not be getting any coverage or the £120M out of the kitty from us?
Lots of Leeds fans worldwide probably sign up to Sky and are extremely grateful that you get so much coverage.

Leeds need Sky far more than Sky need Leeds <ok>

Sensibly put. A ridiculous fight to pick mid season and I really dread to think what the sanctions will be if he goes through with it

    Its in the FL rules

73.2 The League or any subsidiary or associated company of The League or duly authorised agent or broadcaster (and its respective employees and agents) shall be allowed access to the grounds of all Clubs (and to the television gantries, camera positions and facilities) for the purpose of recording or broadcasting matches arranged under the jurisdiction of The League.

So he is breaking the rules of the league and as such Leeds are sure to face a punishment of some kind - but the FL usually go easy on you so will probably be a small fine!!

See your point TC but we only need Bridcutt because every other team has premier league loan players,if non had any loan players then the larger clubs would come to the front. You and the other tiny clubs do very well out of the sky money, where as us who do more than any Championship club to generate this cash do not,in fact we lose money to subsidise you little clubs.Cellino is right we should be given much more of the pot of cash as the facts show we are the club the fans want to see,the reason people pay sky the big cash, sky need all the big clubs because without us they have nothing, not like people would pay to watch Millwall would they ?

Points deduction coming our way, we won't be treated with a slap on the wrist like the Wallies were recently for flagrantly breaking the rules, but then again they always look after the little clubs

I don't think we will get a points deduction and I'm fairly sure the game will be aired.

On Byram we would get a fee at the end of the season as compensation I think. Burnley got 8 mil for Danny Ings so might be worth just holding on to him.

The contract is between Sky and the FL - Fook all to do with Cellino or Leeds and they rightly told him to do one.
Leeds are obliged to abide by the FL rules and banning the Sky cameras is a breach of those rules.
Whether Cellino believes the SKY deal is good or not is irrelevant , the league did when they signed it and if Cellino wants you to play in their league he has to comply with their rules - its as simple as that <ok>

Many teams and sports have had to same argument, and as you see in Spain,Scotland etc the big teams often win, like I say bad timing but Cellino is right those who generate the cash should get most of it.
