I met a couple of great lads from this forum, last week. I'm in Sunderland tomorrow to pick up mine and the bairns season cards, so if anybody is about, I'm in no rush and could happily meet up for a quick drink <ok>

P.s, I've booked a cruise for the bairns birthday in January, I wanted to go with the Forbidden corner idea, but she has already been twice, so this is something new for her.

Nice 1 83 I'm sure she will luv it.
I'm on call otherwise it doesnt take much to persuade me to go for a gargle or two.

    Cheers Roger, you're sound mate.

I'm taking her to Amsterdam, it's what I know isn't it. We are only doing the cruise, so get about 6 hours over there. I'm taking her to a place called 'lovers powerzone' (I know, it doesn't sound appropriate <laugh> ) it hasn't long been opened and it's a 5 minute walk from central station, overlooking the IJ river. It has laser gaming and a glow in the dark bowling alley, it doesn't start until 12. Before then, I'll take her to a few clothes shops, as she likes her fashion.

I'm going to try Copenhagen though, on the back of your advice. I've never been before and the fact I don't smoke anymore, means Amsterdam has a slightly less pull for me now.

You probably already know, but if not, have loads of money. Copenhagen is great -- but far far far from cheap ! Have a great trip.

I was out in town watching a band from 5pm until 8pm where I was drinking lager, double maxim and real ale before heading to the party where I downed a couple of bottles of pretty strong white wine..
I keep telling myself that I'm getting too old for this game, but at times I get the urge for a blow out..

I love my real ales, but the price of them in the Ivy House where I watched the band was extortionate, so mainly stuck to lager and double maxim..

Double Maxim is now brewed by the Maxim Brewery based at Rainton on the outskirts of the city..It was actually brewed in Sheffield for a while and was not the same. Back to its delicious best again now though..

That's me MrRAW, double n the real ales. Workie ticket is quite appropriate for me, doom bar is canny plus spitfire, speckled hen and hobgoblin.

Have you tried Maximus, as in Gladiator, at 6.6%. That helps you do an impression of a Border Collie.

In truth anything with a gravity content will suffice but we all have our faves.

Cannot drink wine at all. Red, White or Rose. Guess I'm just a heathen.
