Man Yoo don't give a **** what sort of money they spend and given the shambles that LVG has, they will want to make a marquee signing when he's gone.

I'd expect some tapping up followed by a big money bid for Kane.

As for Kane ... if we succeed he stays for a few more years if not he stays for one more season before going abroad imo

Top 4 or a cup....that will be enough to show we are going in the right direction and with the new ground will buy us around 3 years.

  6. As we are already proving, Kane can win the title with this Spurs side. There's only Arsenal in our way, and many people are claiming that we've made a shift on them. It's only a question of time, according to some.

You aren't going to win a thing, top 4 at a push perhaps.

<laugh> I think you'll find you are in third ... and if Citeh get a point at ours tomorrow you'll be in fourth .. still that will be an improvement on your usual fifth or lower ...I see maths wasn't on the curriculum at Harvard? ... and that 'question of time' ... that's just you and some other optimistic spuds <doh> ...

.. some are saying that Leicester City can win the title this season ... the realists tend to smile at the 'some' ... like you would at a kitten going arse over tip chasing a piece of string ... warm amusement <laugh> ...

Watford were very unlucky not to get at least a point today ... 'some' would say that Spuds will have to go a whole lot better than that if they are to finish above their normal Europey spot <laugh>

What dream? Spurs won't win the title, but you keep on dreaming.

Anyway, Kane will eventually move on to a bigger club, it's just the way it works.. Spurs are a decent mid table side that have a few hidden gems, and the big boys will snap them up as and when they see fit.

So which is the one who has established himself in the first team, Eriksen I assume you mean, So the 2nd top scoring midfield player in the league last season didn't establish himself (thats Chadli if you didn't know), and now Lamela too is joining the party, so whilst 3/7 is not brilliant it is significantly better than the 1/7 that you suggest.

  14. Guess that would depend on Kane preferring money to ambition ;)

I'd bet my house you will not have Kane in 3years regardless of cups or league position. Time will tell I suppose but imo not a chance in hell you'll have Kane for the next 3 seasons.

You're just not big enough of a club I'm afraid, not money wise and not reputation wise.

Kane won't play "wiv his mates" for Tottenham in the brand new world class stadium I guarantee it.

  16. Hm.

I strongly suspect that, in three years time, we'll be a bigger club than 'Pool - still.

Your gonna need at least 20+ trophies in the next 3 seasons before that is a fact my friend. Unlikely... No actually impossible lol Like it or not LFC is a world name/brand, spurs simply are not.

I think that's premature. Of course any ambitious player wants to have success, wants to win trophies, etc.

As a Spurs fan, I'm actually feeling optimistic for the first time in a long while. We have the basis of a very good, young ( youngest in the Prem) side. We also have a very good young manager. Kane is a local boy, if we can help him fulfill his ambitions - and I'm hoping we can - he won't be going anywhere.
