Agree with all your comments KIO - though who's 'Dave??' Only took me about 5 mins to get a beer at 2pm, so quite good. Mind you, called in for a beer after the game and they had 'Ghost Ship' on - really is one of my favourite beers!!!
Haha! I have been otherwise engaged over the festive period, but it should be sorted tomorrow, have no fear Rick!
'Dave' is Mbok's adopted name I thought everyone knew that Braveheart. Basically it's because his name is hard to pronounce if yew are a Norfuk Bor loik me
Thanks for the explanation re 'Dave' KIO. Incredible to believe we are level with the once mighty Chelsea at the half way point of the season!!!
Player ratings from the Daily Fail - Rudd 7; Martin 6, Bennett 7, Bassong 7, Brady 7.5; Howson 7.5, Tettey 7, Dorrans 6.5 (O’Neil 85), Redmond 7.5; Hoolahan 7 (Odjidja-Ofoe 88); Mbokani. 8 (Jerome 88). I would pretty much agree with those ratings - maybe give Rudd a slightly higher rating. MotD running order -
City 10 fouls, Villians [apt name] 21 fouls in the official stats. And WE gave away foul after foul? Delusion rules in Brummyland.
If Carlsberg did..........Almost the perfect day for us. Swansea could have lost to make it a little better.
Rudd didn't have much to do, but still deserved a 7.5 IMO. Martin I'd raise to 6.5 and Brady and Howson to 8, but otherwise I'd agree. WhoScored had Howson our man of the match.
After his performance at left-back against Villa, Brady is back in the WhoScored best XI of the season so far (at left-back of course).
He deserves that JK. His rankings are slightly better at WL but not as good as Sanchez! Definitely our PotS so far!
Just catching up on MOTD after lots of family gatherings. I think the build up play, choice of cross, and finish by Howson for the first goal was class. We don't usually finish moves like that!
We got a little luck with the deflection as it headed towards JH, but I think it looked like he checked his run to anticipate the change of direction of the ball. Excellent shot and good use of the grey matter
